I don’t agree that his lifetime conservative score is more relevant than his CURRENT conservative score.
I think the article skips over the party insiders and back dealings that played this game.
We should even revisit the whole concept of Thompson as a vote splitter for McCain.
I like Monica but how did she get a Ph.D. with that kind of thinking? McCain got the nomination out of revenge that the evil george bush stole the election from him in 2000? Did anyone here vote for McCain to right this wrong?

No, Monica the PhD. McCain was identified by the voters in 2000, if not by the morons like you on the Straight Talk Express bus, that he was not a reliable conservative and an arrogant self-righteous SOB on top of that.
McCain is where he is because of some media manipulation that devalued the other candidates, a large field that diluted and distributed the conservative vote (he never got more than 50% in competitive races), and a winner-take-all system (Republicans could learn from the Dems here) that gave him 100% of the delegates even if he won by 1% of the vote.
Monica, don't give up your day job waiting for that appointment in the McCain Administration. He is going down in flames. Let's hope he doesn't take the rest of the party, more importantly some of the good conservatives, with him.

She may look good, but she’s full of crap. In the first place, she’s completely wring about Conservatives “...not knowing what McAmnesty will do”. We know PERFECTLY WELL what McCain does. He telegraphs it from afar.
She also lies about his being “a Conservative”. There is NOTHING conservative about him! It’s an insult to real conservatives to say blatant lies like that.
The only woman on cable news who knows her stuff is Michelle Malkin, but the big wigs are afraid of giving her her own show...
