To: bray
As usual, bray, you are lying. I never supported Romney. I never supported Rudy and I never supported McCain.

The socliastic tide is always there, it comes and it goes. We can take a mild wave, or a huge democrat one.
I’ll take the mild one and hope it makes it easier to push back when the pendulum of US politics isn’t so against us.
If we take obama now he’s going to steamroll us so bad everyone except the most extreme poor/union worker will wish it was 1994 all over.

According to Bob Bennett, appearing tonight on Hannity and Colmes, when he (Bob Bennett) was Democrat counsel for the Senate Ethics committee, he investigated McCain for a year and half in re Keating, and recommended to the Committee that McCain be dropped from the ethics investigation. The Democrats on the committee refused, because without the inclusion of McCain, all of the Senators named would have been Democrats. Bennett also said he was a registered democrat. So way back then Bennett knew and yet does not seem to bother him, and when one looks at McCain's own record he tooo loves to side with liberal democrats.... Bennett did not exactly lend credibility to his own cause...

"If we take obama now he’s going to steamroll us so bad everyone except the most extreme poor/union worker will wish it was 1994 all over." maybe they'll be ready for a conservative by then. HOPEfully, there will be a political party that supports consevatives by then.

So.. You expect to lose horribly now to the worst monster in hopes that his socialism will make the people react later against it?
I sure wouldn’t count on that.

I had predicted February 8th. Was on the 21st, so I was off by 13 days.

Did anyone here actually think the MSM would support McCain one second longer than it took to get him the nomination?
It was a setup from the start. They figured him as the easy guy to beat, and dressed him like a Thanksgiving turkey.
To: Just mythoughts
I guess I didn’t see it that way. McCain was not my choice, but, we do ourselves no favors when we are ready to accept a poorly sourced (or unsourced) NYT story simply because we don’t like McCain.
