WELCOME to FREE REPUBLIC. To make your posts blend in easily on FR, please try some of the following DAZZLING statements to make clear your preference for president:

I'll sit this one out. I'm voting for the real liberal so that the country will wake up after four years of socialism. Me me me me me. McAmnesty sucks, I'll leave my ballot blank. I'll write in a real conservative. My excellent conservative credentials can't be compromised by voting for that RINO. RINO RINO RINO. Don't blame me for president Obama. I'm a conservative first, not a Republican. I'M A REAL CONSERVATIVE, I'M AN EXPERT ON CONSERVATISM, I KNOW CONSERVATISM WHEN I SEE IT AND MCkENNEDY ISN'T IT. Look at ME. I Go on EVERY SINGLE THREAD ABOUT MCCAIN and tell everyone I'M NOT VOTING FOR HIM. YEAY FOR ME!

He can talk all he wants. He’s a liberal.

I listened to McCain's speech. Now I am listening to Obama's speech. He is talking about specific things now. It is some scary stuff.

McCain is a liberal compared to many Republicans. But Obama is liberal even by Democrat standards. He can do enormous damage in 4 years.

“LOL apparently they can - McCain won again!”

Yeah, that’s a clue.

Dems, moderates and the liberal media is choosing the Republican candidates.

“We’re gonna get a liberal whether it is Obama, Hillary or McCain. It’s a question simply of degree.”

You can sit in a hot tub at 100F or a boiling pot at 100C.

It’s a question simply of degree.
I choose the hottub. You choose the boiling pot on your own.

Hearing him speak is a minefield of dangerous, wrong, and phony ideas in a smooth delivery.

Obama is going to roll back the Bush tax cuts.
That alone will be a $1 trillion tax increase.

He will reward teachers... excuse me, but he want federal govt to take over education? but he doesnt want tests - he wants students learning art and social studies.
and he wants college ‘affordable for every young
$4000 tuition tax credit for everyone - and what do they give back - ‘community ‘join the peace corps’... this is a plan to take from the taxpayers and to create a corps of liberal activists. boiling pot.

He wants to cap emissions. ‘tax the polluters’ hint *YOU* are a polluter. Raise CAFE standards, etc.

immigration: calls them ‘undocumented workers’ says ‘provide a pathway for those living here’ ... ‘give them an opportunity too’ - he is one of the most pro-amnesty and anti-immigration enforcement senators we have.

I agree they are mostly not in line with the great history and standards of our free republic. I don’t see their presence as benign. I just don’t put them in the same class as the twits who flew planes into the WTC and Pentagon.

It's not exactly pouring water up the nostrils of anyone. I really wish folks'd get this straight. It's a situation thing plus a wet rag, or water washing over your face ~ maybe not even that much water.

The point is to convince someone they could suffocate or drown ~ not actually to suffocate or drown them.

Get those old multi-million years old reflexes firing and they'll talk.

Obama just lied about McCain’s position.

Calling McCain’s position being for ‘100 years of war in Iraq’

Sad.

Duncan Hunter didn’t even get 5%. InSain won it fair and square, get over it. That and the fact that he served his Country is enough to earn my vote.

The guy can’t even raise his arms above his shoulders from being tortured. We haven’t earned the right to criticize his character.

Perhaps the Conservative message is not resonating even among Repubs. The Deportation message is a dud. When conservatives start stealing Marxist lines to support deportation we have lost our way.

YEAY FOR ME!

Amen sister. I'm with you all the way.

It's going to suck watching some people on FR shame themsleves by shilling for McCain for the next nine months.

The way I look at it, it will take Obama 3-1/2 years just to figure out which way is up in DC. McCain will start doing damage immediately.

At the moment no Republican has the number of delegates necessary to get the nomination. So it's not McCain.

My prediction is that the Republican and the Democrat nominations will be settled at the conventions.

Wolf Blitzer, is that you?

There, fixed that for you.

...Do you remember the old adage, “If you do not have anything nice say.....”?....

Oh, I see... is that the 'cue' where we suppose to SHUT UP... and let the BS EXPRESS roll? :)... Because if that is what you think, that we are all a bunch of morons who suppose to line up, shut up and vote for whatever piece of sh*** we get is somehow OUR DUTY? Then you'll be dissapointed :)
