Sen. Barack Obama has been in the news for borrowing parts of a speech by Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick recently; but has he also borrowed some of his famous oratory from California First Lady Maria Shriver?
Shriver, in numerous speeches given throughout California on women's issues and political issues -- including her annual Women's Conference -- has long employed a signature phrase cited from a Hopi Indian prayer: "We are the ones we have been waiting for.''

Which is why it was so stunning to see Hillary give him a total pass in the L.A. debate, after tearing him a new one in the South Carolina debate. Obama and Blitzer ended up tag-teaming her and she did not strike back once.
Yea, I noticed that. I wonder if she did not feel the need to pander a little to the "black" vote after their attempts in SC to inject race....Hence, the love fest....
