"Most Americans can't catch the bar."

Typically, I just belly up to it.

Barack knows that at some level there's a hole in our souls

True words, but Barack is the not the one who's going to fill it.

"If my future were determined by my performance on a standardized test I wouldn't be here," she said. "I guarantee that."

After listening to her for several months, I am beginning to believe this.

I absolutely despise when people comment on the way people look, yet, I am going to ask about Mickey Obama.
Does she not dress like a tart or what? Who dresses that woman? Whores or us.

Except for this specimen. She caught the $300K make-work corporate VP bar reserved for Senator's wives. Nice work if you can get it eh, Michelle?

"Barack Knows..."

"If my future were determined by my performance on a standardized test I wouldn't be here," she said. "I guarantee that."

How lucky for you, that standardized tests didn't matter for your entrance into Princeton and Harvard. For the rest of us it did. How were you different?

Schiek, an educational assistant at Lindbergh Elementary School, said she tries to instill the type of hope in her students that Obama is talking about.

"When teaching them I say if 'you learn how to read you can do anything," Schiek said, adding that it is important for kids to have that kind of hope offered to them. "I didn't have that in my life and I'd love to see that for every kid."
Reading = hope? Expecting excellence is better than just giving them hope.

Which poet said, “A man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s a heaven for?”

He’s talking about ambition. Reaching does not guarantee attaining. What’s Obama suggesting, what kind of guarantees?

"If my future were determined by my performance on a standardized test I wouldn't be here," she said. "I guarantee that."

So she just admitted that she got racial preferences for either Princeton or Harvard.

Had he got a proper job instead of messing around building his ‘community activist’ resume for his long-planned presidental bid, he might have paid them off a darn sight sooner...

THE KEY to the Republicans beating that scumbag Obama in the general election is to MAKE SURE that every time Obama is pictured, he is pictured with his wife. The GOP needs to get her out front and keep her there to the greatest extent possible. Michelle Obama's face needs to be as recognizable as B. Hussein Obama's face. If the Republicans do this, the Democrats CANNOT win. Trust me.
