Moron or no, idiot or not, he just got 10,000 more votes for Obama.
Because AS WE ALL KNOW, the American sheep will always listen to their celebrity heroes. They know more than the unwashed fans, don’t they...

By calling conservatives "fake Christians," Barkley is being broadly judgmental of an entire group of people. Irony, anyone?
Not to mention that the Bible verse is taken out of context in the first place.
I know several non-Christian conservatives. I'm tired of people on the left continually linking conservatism with Christianity (and usually with the derogatory "fundamentalist" label, to boot).
I also know some Christian liberals. Are they any less judgmental? No, actually, at least in my own experience, I'd say that if anything, the ones I've met tend to be more judgmental of others.

if barkley runs for govorner of alabama, and you don’t vote for him, regardless of his positions on the issues, you’ll be a racist, right?? /s

I don't know about gambling, but I'd play his fat ass for $10,000 a hole at golf {cash only, paid after every hole} and I'd bring a Brinks truck to take the money home.
As a glofer, Barkley is turble.

So, everytime I hear the words "Liberal, Obama, or Clinton" I get sick to my stomach.
And besides, liberals are "fake" Americans.

Barkley is the Ultimate Coward if I ever saw one.
He used to brag about being a Republican.
Then he wrote a book duirng the hey day of Klinton Impeachment days, and was critical of Klinton.
The NCAAP type guys got to him and informed him that either its going to be an apology to Klinton and you WOULD get on Firt Black President’s Bandwagon, or would be accused of being self-hater and white-wannabe or something like that.
Maybe Klinton’s scorch earth team had some info on him too.
Since then he has done a 180 and has proudly bought knee-pads, and seems to be enjoying the new poistion.

Wasn’t that long ago some Freepers were pushing for him to run for Governor as a Republican.

But I dont like the way the Republicans are taking this country. Every time I hear the word conservative, it makes me sick to my stomach, because theyre really just fake Christians, as I call them. Thats all they are. But I just Im going to vote Democratic no matter what. Mr. Barkley obviously has no idea how wrong he is. In fact (quoting P.J. O'Rourke from memory):
"Liberalism is immoral...because you can't get into heaven by taking your neighbor's bank account and giving it to the poor."
Sorry, Barkley...
