Hizbullah's chief on Thursday vowed to retaliate against Israeli targets abroad after accusing Israel of taking the fight beyond Lebanese borders with its assassination of one of the group's top commanders, Imad Mughniyeh in Syria.
"You have killed Hajj Imad outside the natural battlefield," Hassan Nasrallah said, addressing Israel and referring to Hizbullah's longtime contention it only fights Israel within Lebanon and along their common border.
"You have crossed the borders," Nasrallah said in the fiery eulogy at the funeral of Mughniyeh in south Beirut. "With this murder, its timing, location and method - Zionists, if you want this kind of open war, let the whole world listen: Let this war be open."
"Like all human beings we have a sacred right to defend ourselves," said Nasrallah, speaking in a videotaped message broadcast over a giant screen at the ceremony in a Hizbullah stronghold. "We will do all that takes to defend our country and people."
Nasrallah warned that Israel's killing of Mughniyeh was a "very big folly" which Israel will eventually pay for it.
"Mughniyeh's blood will lead to the elimination of Israel. These words are not an emotional reaction," he said, drawing roars from the crowd which raised fists into the air.

He sounds like a Dem. Does anyone remember when Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti began in September 1994? I recall being so embarrassed by Bill Clinton's TV performance telling those 'bad guys that we were coming to get them and they should just go away.' Even now all these year since, I still get that tingly feeling of shame just thinking how a US President could act like such a fool on television!
I had no idea of the shame that was to follow--
Just imagine a President Hillary Clinton in charge of a military operation?
Gadzoks! My skin... is racing around my body!!!!
BTW Haiti is still a craphole, like all of Billary's foreign operations!

What is it with Arabstheyre always full of such hyperbole. Nasrallah has his turban on too tight. It's an honor culture (ironic I know as they seem to have no honor) and they place a great deal of self-worth and standing on words and posturing. Never mind that reality and their words are seldom, if ever, in agreement.

This behaviour always reminds me of male chimpanzees in the zoo running around the enclosure screaming and smashing branches to intimidate a rival.

Michael would say that Mughniyeh is not at peace with the world and is enjoying his 72 Virgins.

Am I a complete barbarian for thinking that any time there is a large gathering of Hamas, Hezbollah, Muslim Brothers, Taliban, etc., wherever they are meeting, whether at the bazaar or in a protest march or in a funeral procession for one of their “martyrs,” the entire crowd should be bombed to oblivion? Children could be hurt? Well, if the Muzzies want to protect their children, great - don’t bring children to hate-fests, don’t teach them to be murderous swine. A few targeted crowds, and the ‘Arab street’ just might well reconsider how quickly they want to meet their moongod and his 72 raisins.

It might be dastardly to do that kind of thing. But then again to watch the rats coming and going and to track them would be ok so that you could find their rats den and blow it up.

Dastardly? I would posit that your concept, that
some of the people rallying for Hezbollah are rats, and
some are just peace-lovin' warm'n'fuzzie Muzzies, is misguided. If they're part of that frothing crowd, they've told us that they're enemies of civilisation, our civilisation...they're ALL rats. And the nice 'lil Muzzie wimmin and playful 'lil chillrun dancing in the streets and handing out flowers and candy whenever an American, an Israeli, a Western infidel is killed...they're rats, they're enemies, too.
"'Blowing myself up is the only chance I've got to have sex with 72 virgins in the Garden of Eden,' a 14-and-a-half-year-old Palestinian boy told his Israeli investigators after being caught wearing an 8kg explosives belt." (The Jerusalem Post)

Just because they're not armed, doesn't mean they're not the enemy. Terrorist groups depend on the 'unarmed people' for shelter, information, support, etc. They are all enemies. Even the sole act of cheering for Hezbullah makes them worthy of death, since they are providing moral support.

Natural Battlefield for terrorists: Pizza parlors, school buses, street markets, etc.
