Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new study published in the journal BMC Psychiatry finds that women who have abortions typically experience high levels of post-traumatic stress disorder. The findings mirror other research reports showing women are more likely to suffer mental health issues following abortions compared with keeping the baby.
May God not use the same measuring cup of mercy on you that you use for others.
There were two servants that owed money to a rich ruler. One a large sum of money, the other a small amount.....
It has a lasting effect on men as well. Many of them may have been against the “choice”, but really have little or no say in it. I support all the other means being pursued to put an end to this “barbaric sacrament” - legal, political, etc. - but also realize that in the meanwhile doing what one can to “change hearts and minds” can often have concrete and tangible results. I have a song called “A Dream A Lot Like Mine” which can be heard by clicking http://www.myspace.com/emmettgrayson. It’s free, of course, for the listener and I ask you to listen. It is also being linked on some “abortion recovery”-oriented websites. Let me add a “back story” here on it, if you don’t mind. The night that I recorded it, there was a 21 year-old girl present in my friend’s studio who, although I didn’t know it at the time, had just a few days prior decided NOT to have an abortion. None of us can know how seemingly unrelated events and people can affect, influence or support each other. If I played some small part in supporting or re-inforcing her “choice for life”, I can only be humbly grateful to see some part of God’s plans unfolding around me in a tiny way.
Yes. I get this. One must recognize and acknowledge what has happened as opposed to the PC delusion and excuse bred of feminazis lies and deceptions. Truth is core, simple, exacting. Thank God for that. Yes, yes, yes. I absolutely understand what you are saying and think this is an important distinction.
McCain is not pro-life and will not appoint pro-life (or anti-Roe) Supreme Court Justices. All voting for McCain does is remake the party in his image.
Which would leave all real pro-lifers with no major political party working for their interests.
If you are lied to about what is going to happen, and then you see the result, it would be shocking. How many women who get abortions have seen ONE photo of an aborted baby? How many Freepers have had the strength to look at a photo in honor of the baby who died? To remember him or her? Let me tell you, even looking at the picture causes great stress and you never forget.
McCain has been pro-life and against abortion all along. He, unfortunately, needs to change his mind on embryonic stem cell research.
Face it, he’s a lot better than partial birth abortionists, Hillary and Obama.
Eliminating it through abortion doesn't change any of those mental images. Abortion just makes sure those images never become reality.
Abortion doesn't make you not a mother. It makes you the mother of a dead baby.
Think about it.
Id love to see a point where Roe vs. Wade is irrelevant, and could be repealed because abortion is no longer necessary. But certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force women in America to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations.
McCain has not changed. These are his real views, uncloaked by political rhetoric. And this indicates the kind of Supreme Court Justices he would appoint.
John McCain is not, has never been, and will never be pro-life.
McCain has been pro-life and against abortion all along.

McCain has been short circuiting the pro-life movement for decades behind the scenes ,,, keeping votes from getting to the floor and such ,, he is worse than Obama ,, at least Obama shows himself to be the enemy ,, McCain only wants pro-life voters for their votes ... McCain isn’t a believer ,, he is a user..
