I do believe that Europe is finished. Maybe islands will survive, the New Europe at least. But the old powers of France, Germany, GB..... Hardly a day goes by without a posting here on FR detailing another step towards dhimmitude in Europe.

We OTOH still have a chance to survive as a traditional Western society. But we need to arrest some of the decline and get started on the right track in other areas. Maybe the object lesson provided by witnessing the end of Europe will provide the right catalyst. Maybe.... but liberals seem to be impervious to facts and history, both recent and ancient.

Disturbing indeed, and nothing new or original. No one wants to hear it, which may be the reason why you haven't encountered similar essays. They're printed in obscure journals. There was one by a Spanish thinker, I forget his name, that really hit the screw on the head, saying that Europe exchanged the civilization and culture of the Jews, for the barbarism of the Muzzies.

That is another key to what's been happening. Europe, Western Europe, having collective guilt about the murder of Jews, most of whom resided in Central and Eastern Europe, has become overly tolerant and effectively paralyzed toward the Muslims, who reside in Western Europe. Which leads me to think that the man with a funny moustache will the next time come from the East.

Be that as it may, the only answer to what is happening seems to be what is now eagerly called 'racism', but what in sociological terms would be referred as ethnocentrism. France for the (however reluctantly) Christian French, Germany for the Germans and so on. I think that the Swiss, who also have a large population of Muzzies, will be the only ones with the nerve to save their culture, and keep in mind that they have three or four official languages and ethnic groups. But they are fiercely protective of what they've got, unlike the other Western Europeans today.

This is what I cannot understand. The faster Europe’s socialism careens it toward destruction, the more fervently the libs clamor to follow their lead. The proof that nanny statism and communism do not work is right before our eyes. But the voters are too busy watching American Idol and downing their Prozac to numb their consciences and consciousness to notice. I tremble for my kids and grandkids. God help us.
