The Mohammed cartoons

Despite death threats and warnings of economic retaliation Denmarks three main newspapers will take the provocative step today of reprinting a cartoon showing the Prophet Muhammad wearing a bomb instead of a turban after the arrest yesterday of three suspected Islamic terrorists for plotting to murder the artist.
The cartoon by Kurt Westergaard was one of 12 depicting the prophet which triggered riots around the world leading to dozens of deaths when they first appeared in 2005. The violent backlash demonstrated starkly the incendiary interface between Islam and the boundaries of freedom of expression in Europe.
Denmark has a growing Moslem immigrant population among whom police interviewed a Danish citizen of Moroccan descent and two Tunisians about plans for the terror-related killing of Mr Westergaard, 73, who said that he expected to live the rest of his life under threat of death. Undeterred Westergaard was back at work yesterday to draw a self-portrait for todays editions. It shows him still clutching his pen and a Danish flag, but he is obscured by a dark and bloody cloud featuring Arabic script which declares: Glorious Koran. Many media, including those in the US, refused to reprint or show the cartoons for fear of offending Moslem sensibilities or just plain fear of suffering as Westergaard. Most of these had no problem reproducing Piss Christ, a cross immersed in the artist's urine on display at a publicly funded museum despite Christian outcries.
Freedom of speech/press was the justification then. What's their excuse now?

Most of these had no problem reproducing Piss Christ, a cross immersed in the artist's urine on display at a publicly funded museum despite Christian outcries. In most cases Christians won't blow up innocents with bombs, issue fatwas or (seemingly worse) frame you in public as a racist/bigot/sexist... so it can be gotten away with. For the threat of violence, everyone kowtows to Muslims. They need to be confronted head on, and the chips fall where they may.

Freedom of the press - an idea radical Muslims need to understand. Hats off to these brave journalists.

They hate the West. Why are they here ? To destroy it and replace it with their "culture".
Their "religion" doesn't allow the existance of other cultures.

Those who hate and despise Western culture should not be allowed to live in the West. Return them to their ancestral Islamic hell holes and make them stay there.
It is shameful that American newspapers are not joining with the Danes in printing these cartoons.

Good. Islaamists should be ridiculed constantly. Showing them “respect” only emboldens them.

Now THATS journalism. And THAT'S liberty.

They are here to own us! They see the economic gains but are laws are too weak for them, so they intend to change that and own the country we think of as ours.. Just look at what they are doing in London, Paris and parts of Germany. I have a friend who lives in Bavaria and there are more Turkish Muslim there than Bavarians now.. I hope our country wakes up and soon.. I personally will not wear a Burka nor cover my head for them nor bow to any one of those slim bags.. My Lord and Savior is the only one I bow too!

Many years ago, a pal who had been in Germany said BMW’s motorcycle plant was populated by mostly Turks. I don’t know how he knew this, but suspect he took Euro delivery of a bike.
