but thats the problem, Bloomy doesn’t know the difference, he thinks anyone who sells guns are illgal dealers and buyers, he doesn’t understand the back ground checks they do of those of us that are LEGAL buyers and LEGAL sellers...and how the government, local, state and federal keep an eye on what we do, who we sell to, and who we buy from...
Bloomy is just a hopeless idiot...

Some clever freeper referred to Chrissy's reaction as "pup tent politics”.

I just blazed through the thread, hit that picture of Waxman and was struck by his uncanny resemblance to a Disney cartoon rat in a necktie.

One other thing: Roger Clemens asked for the hearing. LOL
To: Thunder Pig
That’s what most conservatives say: “How did you decide WHICH to include?”

and he should get a hearing for what reason?
Other then he is a pro ballplayer with a hot wife
Why don’t you ask for a hearing (Pick a subject!),& see how far you will get!
It’s still political grandstanding.

"I was getting uneasy with Rush's continuous bashing of both McCain and Huckabee till it dawned on me that Rush is subtly working mightily for a brokered convention which is our last best hope for a ticket like Romney/Thompson. He may be scaring the delegates (called "uncommitted delegates" in the GOP) half to death if they're thinking of McCain or Huck and public opinion is rebelling against these two." I was kind of wondering the same and if it is true that “anything can happen” at a brokered convention, it would be fine with me to have exactly that!
Huckabee has stated his goal is for the nominee to be selected at the convention. He has also stated that if McCain does end up being the nominee that he does not believe that McCain would offer him the VP position.
Who knows, maybe Huckabee and Romney would join forces against McCain. My understanding is that at a brokered convention, the delegates are free to support whom they want and not necessarily tied to a particular candidate.
Yesterday Mark Levin stated that he likes the idea that Huckabee is staying in to give McCain a run for his money. Perhaps Mark is also hoping for a brokered convention.

(We can fix this, but you're gonna need a butter knife, a roll of duct tape, and a car battery.)

Rush has got that right. Obama says nothing well. Or, as Shakespeare said (Macbeth Act V, Scene V): "it is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."
