Right. McCain will never get my vote and I for one will continue to educate people I meet as to the REAL record of John McCain.
His opinion is as good as yours. From my point of view it's better than yours. McCain is not the candidate yet. If we are stuck with him I say we beat the hell out of him until he adopts our agenda or flips out publically then we take him out at the convention

I have not heard that McCain reached the 1,191 delegates needed. But then, maybe I missed hearing the news. If he did not reach the number, maybe he will by March 4th. Then he WILL be the nominee.

Free Republic is a conservative board, not an arm of the Republican Political Machine. To HELL with the RNC and whores in the mainstream media who have picked our candidate for us - the ONE candidate, who, coincidentally, will get CREAMED by ANY Democrat running against him, and who, off the bat, as an entire third of his own party loathing him and everything that he stands for.
The party left US. I don’t see why we should feel any obligation to it whatsoever.
I seriously doubt that JR is going to shut down the anti-mccain threads, as I've seen several of his posts about mccain that don't exactly treat him favorably.
You might want to check out jimrob's posts on the purpose of FR. Hint: it's about conservatism, not the Republican party.
