Barack Guevara

Election 2008: How is it a front-runner for the highest office in the land can reject an American flag on his lapel but permit the display of a huge Cuban flag at one of his offices, emblazoned with a mass murderer's mug?

Improbable as it sounds, it's true. Barack Obama, displaying the same "anything goes" standard of patriotism he showed when he ostentatiously refused to wear a U.S. flag in his lapel, now shows he's got a whole different idea about patriotism.

One of Obama's volunteer offices in Houston was caught operating under a huge flag of communist Cuba with Che Guevara's face printed on it, according to images shown on Fox News. Flak from bloggers ensued — followed, of course, by spin control.

But rather than repudiate the image, Obama would only call it "inappropriate," apparently without insisting it be taken down. That contrasts with his dismissal of his Senate colleagues who wear lapel flags as "hypocrites." Some hypocrites.

The display of the Castroite flag with Che's picture on it sends a particularly disturbing message about his campaign. Apparently, Obama tends to attract the kind of people who think of mass murderers like Che and Fidel as romantic revolutionaries. Those same people see Obama as a man with a messianic message. These are the voters he'll be indebted to should he win higher office.

Radicals have a very hard time getting their agenda thru Congress. Those 69 Democrats from Red Districts who have been routinely voting against Pelosie and Reid are not likely to suddenly sign on to Obama’s radical agenda. They probably would be bought by Clinton inc.

Obama’s agenda is easier to beat Legislatively simply because it is so extremist. And, after they have their expectations raised so high by Obama, when he goes to DC and does nothing, the resulting backlash against Dems from their voters would be huge.

I suspect that Hillary is a long way from dead. Remember there are a bunch of super delegates out there for the plucking, and Hill and Bill are renowned for dealing with a stacked deck.

"Maybe stupid but honest Obama is less dangerous then cynical and evil Clinton inc."

Barak Hussein Obama is not honest, he's every bit as sleazy as most politicians are. What's really troubling is that he tries to hide his Islamic heritage and training in his youth. The paternal side of his family have long been steeped in Islam, and I wouldn't trust this man as local dog cathcer, never mind President of the United States of America. Neither would I trust Shrillary or McInsane. May God save America, because these people sure won't.

Your quoting the entire population demos not the Dem voting base.Blacks make up about 45 % of the dem base. Check out the votes by county . its the black ones where he crushed her ( ie Richmond, Alexandria ) . Was Va an open primary where unregistered could vote ?

What strikes me as ironic is his statement that he’ll listen to main street and not Wall Street. Does he not realise, that people in Main Street, including us “proles”, have investments in Wall Street. I guess that he has never heard of mutual funds and 401Ks. Does he not know that many blue collar folks have pensions that are invested in Wall Street? If he squeezes Wall Street, then Main Street will also feel the squeeze. Wall Street also provides the capital for mom and pop to start and build their businesses.

Maybe he does know all this. Maybe his “change” is to end “man exploiting man” and bring all production under the control of the state. Yup, taht’s real change, comrade.

Mamybe I should write a letter to Barry telling him that I am one of the eeeeeevil “rich” who benefitted from the tax cuts. I am not a millionair, but a single dude who makes a lower middle class income. I carefully saved and invested some of my money in a retirement plan. A plan that is invested partly in eeeeevil Wall Street.

What on earth has given you the impression that democrats care in anyway shape or form about this sort of stuff. Obama can say “I’m a communist & I’ll give you hope— hope for taking your neighbors money to buy yourself things with”, and the dems will lap it up.

Yes. And based on votes totals a lot of Republicans went across to vote for the Dems.

I haven’t seen the one with a crown of thorns! I know a number of Hispanic Catholics who would be deeply offended by that one. Heck, I know a lot of Catholics, period, who would find that to be very offensive and, in fact, blasphemous.

Amen. Now it is up to us to limit the damage as much as possible. God helps those who help themselves.

Not anymore ,the Dem party is all being financed by Moveon.org and Soros and other far far left wing 527s.
The Dems are all financially in-debt to the far left.
Osama Obama will control all three branches of gov’t
and his power will be veto proof at this rate .He is a radical leftist and will abuse all the power at finger tips. He has the most liberal voting record in Congress so that means he beat out Boxer and Kennedy.
His plans are so radical he won’t even tell the detail but they slip out in pieces. His meaning for change is radical wealth redistribution.

Bizarre. Cutting there own throats by voting for a Red Star socialist who is way more radical than Hillary just to get back at the Clintons.

‘...vote for Obama in the primary...’

do you believe McCain can beat Obama? The thought of President Obama scares the elle out of me. This man believes he can have a rational discussion with the nut job in charge of Iran. And, after reading some comments in his own book, Mr. Obama does not seem ‘the uniter’ he professes to be. He is a great speaker.....but, actions speak louder than words. God help America.
