No!
They have some good food there, and have you ever heard of "Two Buck Chuck"? It's a wine brand (can't recall the vineyard off hand) they carry, maybe a little over $2 a bottle depending on where you are, but actually a pretty good wine.
A lot of organic foods and other stuff you might not find at your local Kroger or whatever big chain store you shop at.
If you have one in your area check them out. Hell, them actually listening to the concerns of their customers over Chinese products ought to be reason enough to wander in for a look see.

Hey! I resemble that remark! DFU, too! He and I were comparing TJ experiences (and favorite items) a couple years ago.
They've had some frozen organic vegetables from China, very good stuff. The ban is too bad, but understandable. And from what I've been reading about the BA 38 crash, which ended the magnificent Boeing 777's unblemished safety record, it seems that Chinese jet fuel should be the next thing banned.

I don’t know what these others are smoking but the trader joes around here is a complete fruit-loop paradise.
the elite metro’s would rather be seen at whole Foods.
The dirty, poor hippies prefer joes.

Isnt Trader Joes frequented exclusively by metrosexual hippie elitists? No. Crunchy conservatives shop there too.
Good prices on eggs and grass-fed meat.
Oh, and dried berries and non-hydrogenated peanut butter. You know--no trans-fats.
Cheers!

Isnt Trader Joes frequented exclusively by metrosexual hippie elitists? I think you have TJ's confused with Wild Oats and Whole Foods.

Isnt Trader Joes frequented exclusively by metrosexual hippie elitists? Not me, and we spend 70% of our food dollars at TJ's. And their prices are exceptional.
