Århus - Police in Denmark have arrested four people suspected of planning an attack on one of the creators of the controversial Muhammad cartoons. The arrests were made in Århus.
The intended victim was the 73-year-old cartoonist Kurt Westergaard. He had drawn an image of the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb lodged in his turban.
The publication of the 12 Muhammad cartoons in the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten two years ago led to angry demonstrations in many Islamic countries; some 150 people were killed.

Somebody please post the cartoons. Especially the turban-bomb cartoon. We wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity to offend a devotee of the Religion of Peace!

I have this printed on a T-shirt. I went to the mall and there was a burka and its owner who saw me wearing it. He got all bent out of shape and was going to confront me, until he saw my .45 ACP in a shoulder holster. Backed off in a big hurry.

Danish police arrest cartoon plottersCartoon criminals can be pretty nasty customers. A few years back, an LAPD detective had a piano dropped on his head while trying to make an arrest in Toontown.

A 73 year old cartoonist — and FOUR of the filthy, cowardly bastards were dispatched to do him in. I’m sure it was because he could easily take out three with his paint brushes.
