Well, the article is wrong about IA. It is no Republican stronghold at all. Ask Tom Harkin?

I’ll read it later....but right off the top of my head I’d say

No. But, the RNC is only concerned about keeping politicians in the Swamp. Any politician is okay, ones with R’s next to them give the RNC money.

I stopped at the beginning. The premise that the RNC is “making John McCain the nominee” is preposterous. I’m sorry, but in light of a year long campaign, constant changes in front runners, continuing caucuses and primaries across the nation, and the failure of other candidates - this myth of an RNC conspiracy or even ability to pick the nominee approaches the level of a 9/11 denial. Folks, we have watched this process and it wasn’t engineered by any RNC.

The RNC didn’t make McCain the leading nominee, the voters did.

I think many of us have suspected this since before the 2006 mid term elections, when Ken Mehlman was in charge.

The media is to blame for McCain. They have managed to keep the sheeple ignorant, fat and happy.

RNC is doing nothing unusual!!

They pick the schmucks & we've always voted for them because they have an R after their names.

I think they are running into a brick wall this time!!

We're just not playing that game anymore.

Every time I get donation requests from the RNC, I send them a well written short note. Nothing profane, just to the point. They still don’t get it. My guess is since there’s no check in the envelope, they don’t even read the letter. I got another one the other day. I’m sending them a “McCain buck”.

Now I just have to find a picture of one to print out.

I agree with what this person wrote, even to supporting Republican Senators that would be running. Don’t lose sight of that when I tell you that the idea the United States Senate is going to save the conservative’s bacon, goes to show just out screwed we are right now.

The United States Senate is one of the most screwed up bodies in the world as it relates to conservatism. Even when we have majorities there, we get nowhere.

I’ll support the idea, but I do have to view the effort in light of what the Senate always seems to have always been and seems like it will always be.

Then explain how Democrats got little if any support in their primary there?

Excuse me, the party of Whiners is across the street, in the sewer, called DU or something like that. I try not to go there because of the filth.

What is it with all these crybabies? On what planet do they write? It can’t be Earth or the US, it must be some fantasy world where a secret cabal of people determine who is presidential candidate. Because it certainly ignores nine million people who cast their vote and actually /did/ make the selection, as horrid as it be.

But, hey, what am I saying? This is the world of blame. We must blame someone, so we blame the RNC while our neighbors vote for the likes of John McCain.

Word to the author: Get off your rump and go recruit some conservatives to run for office, and some conservatives to help support them into office, and participate.

The party is just as responsible. They scheduled the early primaries in mostly liberal states, thus giving McCain an early advantage.

The GOP is done, and they did it to themselves. If the media helped, the GOP handed them the sword.

You watched with blind eyes my friend...

McCain YOUR “front-runner” has LOST 19 of 30 primaries, has only 30.9% “Republican” support in those primaries and only 22% of the national primary votes thus far....

So, HOW did he become the “front-runner” if he wasn’t positioned by the RNC (who is behind him against all conservatives) and the MSM (who is actually for Democrats and have chosen who they will run against by shaping the headlines)?

You can’t be serious! LOL

That's sure true:

the RNC couldn't find their butts with both hands!

What voters? Conervatives? Life-long Republicans? Or RINOs, Democrats who register Republican for primaries but vote Democrat in the generals, or Independent voters?

What voters?
