Jeb for McCain (RINO ALERT)
National Review online ^ | 2/11/08 | Byron York

ARLINGTON, VA — U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has endorsed John McCain for president.

"John McCain is a patriot and devoted conservative leader," said Governor Bush. "Like no other candidate in the field, John McCain has made tremendous sacrifices for this nation. He is beholden to no interest other than that of the public good. He is determined and steadfast in his commitment to reducing the burden of high taxes, restoring the people's trust in their government, and winning the war against radical Islamic extremists. It is with pride that I announce my endorsement of John McCain for president."

The fact remains that if he were alive, healthy, and running for re-election as president today, you, and the rest of the FRinge element here, would brand him a RINO. You wouldn’t care about him “admitting to” anything. You would brand him a supporter of terrorism and open boarders.

the FRinge element here

That would be you and anyone who claims that McRino is any kind of conservative, patriotic, loyal American. He's nothing but a turncoat rat with the letter "R" after his name.

Don’t try to put words in Reagan’s mouth. He was a GREAT president, maybe the greatest ever, but he wasn’t perfect. On Amnesty, and in pulling out of Beirut, he clearly fell short.

The fact remains that, according to the rhetoric you and the rest of the FRinge element use on this site, you would not support Reagan, and you would brand him a RINO, because of the amnesty of 1986. You would have permitted a Democrat to take the White House, just like you plan to permit Hillary or Obama to take the White House this year.

It’s becoming obvious who the real RINOs are.

Yep True conservatives. Republicans seem to be socialists these days.

If he wanted to do that he would not have suspended his campaign.

They are liberal plants trying to sow discord among the freepers.

My thoughts exactly.

Every election we get inundated by trolls from DU.

You notice DU does not let just anybody post and if you post something divisive the pull it immediately.

He certainly isn’t a CINO. Being for the current war isn’t the end all be all definition of conservative.

I agree, his deal had laws that were supposed to be enforced but weren’t, I think he’d say what Thompson said about McCain Feingold - I regret it, it created more problems than it solved.

There fixed it for you, you forgot one.
