A National Coalition to stop John McCain has been formed
Spread the word far and wide to stop the heresy of his nomination.
McCain? No!
It is past time for Republican conservatives to start "brush fires" and stage a "tea party."
With Sen. John McCain's unanticipated and rapid ascent to "presumptive GOP Presidential Nominee," the liberal (left) wing of the Republican Party is positioned to seize control of the party and its conservative soul. This cannot be allowed.
McCain was able to move within striking distance of the nomination with only about 35 percent of the Republican vote. This anomaly was caused by so-called "moderate" independents voting for McCain in Republican primaries.
McCain has a critical weakness ... an Achilles' heel. To beat the democrats, McCain must have the votes of the party's conservative base. Without the support of dedicated conservatives, leftist McCain cannot succeed.
McCain CAN and must be stopped before the GOP anoints him with the nomination in September.

This looks like a non-starter.
What does the photo of Lieberman stand for?
are they proposing an alternative that has a chance to beat Obama or Clinton?
Give it up folks. I don’t like McCain either but this will tear up the party with these tactics.
McCain will not get elected anyway. A Democrat will get elected. Keep your powder dry for 2012.
Bravo AllseeingEye, Teddie Lane et al!!
Only, some of us aren’t Repubs. We’ll still be doing everything WE can to keep McAmnesty out of The White House.
Gary Bauer has endorsed McShame today. He must be escoriated for this. So should Tony Perkins and all the other hypocritical Christian Right leaders. Dobson endorsed Huckabee knowing he can’t win. That’s “cover” for Mr. Dobson.
That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it.

There’s already a group who tries to stop McCain. The group is the Huckabee campaign. To win the nomination, McCain needs 472 more delegates, so it’s possible that someone else (maybe Huckabee) will win the nomination. If you know any conservatives who live in Maryland, Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio, Penn., Texas, and Indiana, please ask them to vote for Huckabee, in their primaries or caucuses.
Alternative Please?
If that’s the ‘choice’, then forget it. There are few ways to make McCain look like a beauty pageant winner. What you can do is put him next to Hillary, Obama, Huckster, Ron Paul or Alan Keyes. As for the concept of putting it into an open convention with a ‘compromise’ candidate coming forth to save the day, we all know what’ll happen there - we’ll get the same as we’ve got, John McCain.
Just start pulling out the Romney lipstick and start smearing it all over John and bite the bullet. Myself, I sleep easy, my vote went to Fred Thompson while he was still in the race. I won’t have to compromise my values until November.
Question: Why should conservatives support McCain?
Answer: For the same reasons they should support Hillary Clinton if she were running as a Republican, facing off against Dennis Kucinich for the Dems.
- she is stronger on the WOT
- she has more experience
- she is more conservative overall
- she is the lesser evil
- her mental instability will frighten our enemies!
VOTE FOR JOHN MCCAIN! (brought to you by the same people who would call you a traitor for refusing to vote for Hillary Clinton in the above scenario)
Well, it has been said that McCain knows how to build a coalition, but I doubt this is what they meant.
Don't forget "send money". Ron Paul's contribution to the electoral scene, for profit campaigning.
I disagree: the 'Rats are tearing themselves to pieces. If Obama wins the regular delegate count but the Beast gets the nomination because of superdelegate support, there will be plenty of 'Rat voters that will switch to McCain out of disgust for the Clintons.
Our best hope is to push for conservatives in the down-ticket races and hope McCain has enough sense to pick a solid conservative running mate. My choice for a McCain veep that will get conservatives on board (and maybe even peel off some black voters) would be JC Watts.
Like the 1773 Boston Tea Party, the Republican Tea Party is a direct act of defiance against an unresponsive authority. The Republican Party of today is a left leaning establishment which has lost touch with its conservative core principles of life, liberty, freedom, justice and traditional family values.
