Other that his telling Craig Livingstone ...

"with an infinitely more distinguished public record than yours, Admiral Boorda committed suicide when he may have committed a minor mistake."

... that Dimocrat Senator will not be missed by this American.

Now notice how FReepers react at the death of a Democrat whom we disagree with. Compare this with the DUmmies. If Lantos were a (R) they’d be chanting and celebrating..........

Sadly, you spoke too soon...

Good enough, survive the crap he did but he came out of it hating the USA a little less than(maybe) he hated the Nazis.
Old Skool commie for sure but he sure adopted the new lefts very open contempt for traditional American values, liberty, and heroes. Someone posted yesterday a comment by Walther Matthau’s character in the movie Failsafe. Regarding the Jew and the Nazis, something about if the Jews had met the Nazis armed, how would things have turned out. Yet Mr. Lantos was for guns being gathered up by the goon squads.Guess his goons are better than Nazis’. Why, because his fascism was better! Deranged. NRA rating as of F. Christian Coalition gave him 9% on Pro-Family legislation. The only two good things on his entire voting record I can find are allowing pilots to carry guns and withholding UN money for a little while. But,Knock a general of the USA in wartime and call him a liar, Mr. Lantos? When soldiers are dying? For the sake of your party, not MY country? Hell ain’t half full.

Precisely.

Prayers for his family, but as for him, I have only contempt.

You got that right. He was an America hating communist. All of you need to do a little research on this piece of work before you eulogize him.
