The man who American journalists are investigating as the possible illegitimate son of John F. Kennedy lives in British Columbia and bears a striking resemblance to the 35th president of the United States.
So much so, that people will sometimes stop him on the street.
"Not in a funny way, but in a scary way," the man named Jack said during a meeting Saturday morning.
Jack, who has asked that his full identity not be revealed at this time, approached The Globe and Mail on Friday after the newspaper ran an article about the possible existence of a John F. Kennedy love child living in Vancouver. Wary that he would become the subject of a media hunt to discover his identity, he said he chose to come forward.

Ich bin ein bastarder.
The Global and Mail is about as mainstream as Canadian media get. (I spent six months in Ontario one night.)
I actually like the Globe and Mail. They tend to support the establishment view, ( Capital Punishment, no, Nationalized Health Care, yes, yada, yada, yada) but their tone is distinctly more adult and their outlook much broader than just about any American outlet. The Boston Globe and New York Times in particular.
I can’t read the New York Times or Boston Globe, not on mere ideological grounds, but on the ground of intellectual coherence and a somewhat pedantic and exceeding boring literary style. The G&M otoh is almost always delightful, even though I rarely find myself in agreement with their views.
The NYT and BG deserve to go out of business, they provide overpriced shoddy goods.
Easy, they can get Kennedy DNA off of any of Teddy’s booze glasses,.... or bottles. Or, maybe off one of the cars he wrecks. Come to think of it, his son Patrick would be good for that.
I'm a little confused. Is Canada a state or is it a possession like Puerto Rico? How many votes do they have in the electoral college?
ROFL!!
Yes, you seldom hear anyone claiming to be a famous person’s “bastard child.” Funny how that works...
I can see the use of the euphemism because it’s certainly not the child’s fault. But this guy isn’t a child any more, JFK was a horndog, and I’d be willing to bet the family’s been paying this guy and/or his mother to keep thimgs quiet. So as far as I can see, no need for anyone to try to gussy up the situation.
“ack said he did not cast a ballot in the recent Super Tuesday primaries, adding that he is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. “I couldn’t imagine my mind being hijacked by dogma like that,” he said.”
Nah, he’s no Kennedy.
I also wonder if the Toons could be responsible for this, trying to get back at the Kennedys for their endorsement of Barry.
He'd have to catch the bottle before it - hic - is tossed out the window and into the drink. Probably best to stake out Patches' latest rehab locale.
Nah, skip the DNA tests. Does this love child have a history of womanizing, drunkenness, and vehicular mishaps? When was the last time he skied into a tree? A simple questionnaire will resolve this issue in short order.
Arrogant elitist. Translation: "I couldn't imagine focusing my brain long enough to perceive any transcendent principles of right and wrong, good and bad, better and worse.
IOW the guy doesn’t know what the Heck he believes...
If he can prove it with DNA any office in Massachusetts not currently held by a Kennedy relative is probably open to him. Those people are real Royalists up there. Birth and rightfulness counts for everything. As Democrats in general tend to that royalist bent the Clintons have taken that position in the general party. Unlucky for them they are just getting going when the Messiah comes along calling for Change!
It was noted in the article that he is an American Citizen. He would probably have voted in a State, had he voted.
I caught that. Just couldn’t help myself.
OK, Chelsea, you can come out of the closet now.
Wow, I do see the resemblance.
