Sorry Gov. Crist not buying it... anyone else watcing this?

That argument is completely false and I can't believe anyone except McCain and Geraldo Rivera is still using it. No one has proposed deporting illegal aliens en masse. Securing the border and enforcing the laws on the books, ie prosecute those who employ illegals, will dry up the jobs and the illegal aliens will deport themselves at their own expense. Many of them paid as much as $5,000 dollars to get here they can afford to go home.
Your straw man has been knocked down a thousand times here at FR. It's a lie.
first you have to find everyone. There are millions of people across the country. men, women and children. You’d end up with some kind of Stalinist police force in order to pull this off.
We are winning the war in Iraq and McCain’s amnesty and his lead on Glowbull Warming legislation will be more crippling to our economy than anything that has happened yet in our history.
For we in San Diego, the illegals by the tens of thousands are sucking up the economy.
We spend tens of millions of dollars a year funding these illegals with their health care, on down the line.
Duncan Hunter wrote the legislation of the Border Fence and D.C. has drug their feet getting it going and recently the funding was pulled thanks to the pro illegals in the Senate.
If we don’t win the WOT and deal with the illegals and border issues, the economy as a whole will mean nothing as they don’t make pockets in shrouds.
I would agree with that. But there are posters that want a mass deportation. it just isn’t possible
we won’t win the war if the dems take over the oval office
A few posters on an internet forum. Serious conservative politicians have called for deportation on contact, secure borders and enforcement of employment laws on the books. Those three things will dry up the jobs and illegal aliens will self deport. They earn enough to send 60% of Mexico’s GDP back from the States every year so they can afford the trip back home.
McCain Argues for U.S. Troop Withdrawl from Somalia Mr. Blackhawk Down (YouTube VIDEO)
You will recognize his arguments as the same ones liberals are now using for leaving Iraq. Add his defense of terrorists rights, restricting interrogation techniques and his support of the KLA and I have a real problem believing he will be anything but weak on foreign policy.
building the border should be something the federal govt can do
A DEM brought to power because the GOP failed to produce an acceptable candidate will have ZERO power..
somalia? oh come on. you’re not being serious here.
100% SERIOUS MY FRIEND...
yes he will. A win is a win. Even Bush with 30% approval rating has more power than dem control of both houses.
Never mind how many entitlements those 40 million new citizens will want...and vote for themselves.
Now, pragmatically speaking, who would Republicans in Congress be more likely to fight against? A Dem Pres. or a Republican Pres who has been the architect of Amnesty?
maybe we should be for going to haiti too? Somalia is not in the same league as Iraq, by any measure.
What isn’t serious about Somalia? Did you view the video?
not yet...I just don’t think we had any business in somalia so I have no problem with withdrawal.
Somalia is another area where Al Qaida has been active.
Of the thousands in Somalia who have fled, there are several thousands here in San Diego we are supporting
because the enemy wasn’t stopped in their country.
*dont think we had any business in somalia*
You must have thought bad idea to fight Hitler since he didn’t bomb Pearl Harbor
I think its extremely important to send the message that illegals are not wanted and will not be allowed to stay in our country. You start with some, move to more and end will all.
