Personally, I think it is time for a national primary day, and only individuals who know they cannot vote because of business reasons of deployed military or stationed out of their precinct should be allowed to vote absentee

That sounds a great idea but I suspect some State laws would not allow this but it would stop so called tactical voting including voting for the candidate they would rather face from the opposite party.

You may be correct on that snugs, but the ability of candidates - from either party - to bus voters into different states is wrong. I'd also like to see the primary day be six weeks before the general election, not ten months. I am already in the BS overload and burnout mode.
