Rich: Hillary Ruthless, Race-Carding, Synthetic Product Leeched of Human Qualities
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 02/10/2008 5:05:27 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

If Frank Rich is the voice of elite liberal opinion, Hillary Clinton is in deep, deep trouble. How many folks on the Upper West Side and reasonable facsimiles thereof from Boston to Madison to LA will be opening their hearts -- or credit cards -- to Hillary after reading Rich's stunning indictment of Clinton and her campaign this morning?

The jumping-off point for Rich's column is the live prime-time special the night before Super Tuesday that the Clinton campaign conducted. Flashing his theater-critic roots, Rich panned it as a "boring" "pseudo-event," noting that "some in attendance appeared to trance out." But if the staging was bad, the substance was much, much worse in Rich's view. For he claims that it reflected nothing less than Clinton playing from a "thick deck of race cards."

Writes Rich [emphasis added]:

It’s fascinating to watch which liberals jump ship and go for Obama and which ones stay with the Clintons.

Hillary is the same as them. Same age as them.
My own read of this is they are sick of themselves so they are sick of Hillary
They are roughly Hillary's age so vampire like they want new blood to glom onto and that young blood is Obama

Who I'm hoping will knock out the witch so McCain can face Obama
The "Stop Hillary Express" number one priority is get rid of her ASAP, via Obama is preferable to the general election

Seems like they are really desperate for Obama to be the nominee. I’m not convinced he will win though. They might regret they got what they wished for.

The pollster Kellyanne Conway was at CPAC yesterday and says Hillary would lose in the general. Another friend who works at at a DC polling firm is convinced she would lose badly too. I don’t know. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people. But if these experts on public opinion are so sure about this, it cant be good for the Clinton camp.

Dare I say it? The Clintons have been “pimping” the African American vote for decades. Now it’s the Hispanics turn.

It was hilarious to see Sheila Jackson-Lee (you know she wants to be no less than HHS Secretary) on Fox last night trying to rally the brothers to Hillary’s cause, while Albert Wynn, the soon-to-be ex-Congressman from PeeGee County in Maryland, was pimping himself out for a job in the Obama administration.

I disagree...to a point.

He's just sick of the Clintons.

He AND Mo Dowd have been savaging 'Billary' the past month.

I think we should get out of our comfort zones and make some predictions! What’s going to happen? Here’s mine: Hillary is the nominee, and has Barack as Veep candidate. How could she avoid picking him? She can’t, without starting a civil war in their party.

McCain wins a squeaker. He holds the Bush states and picks up one or two more. (Oregon, Mich, NH or Penn.)

You heard it here first...

why should b. hussein take second place to the piaps????

he should offer VP to her...but she would never accept second to an afro-aemrican and/or a male!!!!
