The general public aren't doing what the scientists in these prestigious research centers are doing now: spending money on expensive toys.

But yes, many people find OTT armageddon stories to be titillating. Others want to put a man on Mars within a decade, some are waiting for the successor to the bubonic plague, while still others obsess over whatever shows up in People Magazine or Reader's Digest.

My husband and I are building an underground house with a greenhouse. Then we won’t have to worry about it one way or the other.

Is this just like the one we were heading into in the 70’s?

I occasionally get PERL messages, but I doubt that they’re related to the size of the ping list. It seems to me that they can happen any ol’ time.

Patterson is finding "excellent correlations" between solar fluctuations, a relationship that historically, he says doesn't exist between CO2 and past climate changes. According to Patterson. we shouldn't be surprised by a solar link. "The sun [is] the ultimate source of energy on this planet," he says. No firckin' kidding. Some genius has figured it out.
Good post.

Anyone else other than me feel pretty dammed sad that the only people that seem to be speaking with some honesty and real research into climate change are the RUSSIANS?The Russians are by far the largest high-latitude country and will be greatly effected by any real climate change. They have a big stake in trying to figure out what really going on with the climate, either warming or cooling, and in being correct with their predictions.
Western environuts are only concerned with furthering their agenda of the economic control of individuals. They don't need to be right or wrong because "the debate is already finished".

Don't see any sunspots. Can't remember the last time I went to Spaceweather.com and didn't see any.My husband likes to show sunspots to kids who visit his StarLab program. (He projects them on a flat surface).
They have seen very few this year.

Here’s the article that explains why the temps are going down... what some astronomers have been predicting for the last two years.

We were at 92 today in the Central Valley of California, while my sister got a snow fall record for the date last week in Anchorage.
