Kansas City Star ^

With the race to succeed him reaching a critical juncture, President Bush on Friday began rallying the Republican base around its presumptive nominee, John McCain.

In a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference, Bush offered an implicit endorsement of McCain, a senator from Arizona, as a true conservative in the face of deep skepticism on the right.

Ah yes, the "falling Star" attempting to "influence" the conservative candidate.

Don't forget to vote in the KS Republican Caucus tomorrow!!!

Remember, McCain doesn't have 1197 YET and Romney has merely suspended his candidacy and we WILL be counting the votes for him and the other candidates (Huckabee, Alan Keys, and Ron Paul, oh...........yes and McCain.)

Don't forget "It Ain't Over, 'Til It's Over" and McCain still hase to reach the magic number or no nomination (no matter what the media tell you.)

"W" is just as screwy as McCain on the free speech issue.

Must have been something in their mothers' milk ~ arsenic from deep wells maybe?

We can ask!

Go right ahead and try, Jorge. Go right ahead and try "rallying" us to Juan's side.

... and, right after that: try nailing eggs to a wall, while you're at it.

Who is President Bush supposed to rally behind, Hilly or Obama instead of McCain?

Get real. We have a sucky candidate, but our sucky candidate is better than a Dem sucky candidate (at least I hope so).

This is the worst election cycle shaping up in my lifetime. I vowed to never vote for McCain, but as God as my witness I will do that over voting for Hilly or Obama or not voting so one of them gets in by default.

God Bless America.

GWB looks like Barry Goldwater when stacked up against Mad John, no wonder Mad John lost to him in SC.

I didn’t see all of Mike’s ideas there. For instance I didn’t see the part where he talked about putting “God’s amendments” in the constitution. Is that an area where he’s better than McCain?

“SUPPORT THE TROOPS.”

Ok, I will. At least our troops anyway, and those of our allies. I’m not inclined to support Iranian troops or North Korean troops though.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS.

MAKE CERTAIN THEY COME BACK TO A USA WITH SECURE, NON-POROUS BORDERS, AND WITH AN ILLEGAL ALIEN POPULATION 30,000,000+ LESS THAN THE ONE JUAN MCCAIN IS ACHING TO FORCE UPON THEM.

SUPPORT THE TROOPS. DON'T ELECT JUAN MCCAIN!!!

There. Fixed it for you.

McCain can easily get conservatives rooting enthusiastically for him in the Fall election. He needs only do two things:

1) Name a rock solid conservative for his Veep running mate, and then ....

2) Fake a heart attack at some public forum.

McCain does not help his case running around suggesting we will be in Iraq for 100 years. That is just ignorant, handing ammo like that to the RATS. That has since become one of Hillarys campaign themes.
