Hillary Says 75,000 Have Donated (since Super Tuesday)

Hillary Clinton says more than 75,000 people have contributed to her presidential campaign since the polls closed on Super Tuesday.

In a letter to supporters, Hillary wrote: “I wish I could find the words to express how grateful I am for the support you have given me. I'm sure you know by now that your support could not have come at a better moment -- I needed your help, and you responded with more enthusiasm and generosity than I could possibly have imagined.

“Over the past 48 hours, you exceeded every goal we set. Since the polls closed on Super Tuesday, more than 75,000 of you have contributed to our campaign.

“I am genuinely touched by your dedication not just to me and my campaign, but to real change for our country. Something amazing is happening here, and I hope you're as proud to be a part of it as I am.”

Clinton — who recently loaned her campaign $5 million — acknowledged that she still has a “long road” ahead, with 10 more races in February, many of them playing “to my opponent's strong suits -- including his virtually unlimited funds.

“I am relying on you to overcome that gap, and you have made it very clear over the past two days that you are up to that challenge. Thanks to your support, we are going to change our country.”

Obviously PR spin to counter the news that she had to hit her own piggy bank for $5 million just to stay in business.

"we are going to change our country.”

Change our country - LOL. More like a return to the Clinton I Presidency with an overwhelming Dem majority and the special twists that only Hillary can bring to the mix. I'm actually rooting for Obama to save us from this monster and her husband. The Reps wouldn't make the effort and she can actually win against the weakest opposition of any candidacy in my memory.

God these people are transparent liars, yet the MSM keeps reporting their BS without checking. When the truth comes out, that Billary made all this up, this “fact” will be down the memory hole, the MSM will be off on another story (probably “McCain-Crazy or Just Evil”) and HillBill will be making up a new one which they will buy.

Notice she just talked about how many donated, not HOW MUCH they gave. Hmmmmmm....must have been a buck a piece. Had it been a large sum, she would have spouted it out over and over again.

If she can raise money this easily, why did she have to loan her campaign $5M from her own money?

Hard to believe there are 75,000 people dumb enough to contribute to her campaign - because if she gets elected she's going to be stealing from every working citizen in the country!

Well, this is a first.

I don't remember ever hearing "how many" people donated to a politician, only "how much" was donated.

Even in $1000-a-plate fundraisers, the number is not how many attended but how much was raised.

75,000 quarters doesn't go far in politics.

ED Hill gave the explanation just now on Fox that people didn’t realize that the witch needed the money, so when they heard that she had to put in her own money they decided to donate.
I knew that it was a planted question by the reporter when he/she asked Hillary about the money. This was all calculated!!

Hillary- “I want to thank my 75 major bundlers, and the thousands of dishwashers, landscapers, and office cleaners for their donations.
