Can McCain Be Trusted With Nukes?

McPain's biggest problem may not be that he is a leftist RINO who hates conservatives, as bad as that fact is on its own. Let's Face it.....he is nuts! He makes Ron Paul and his kooks look sane.
Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi was quoted saying a few days ago that:
"The thought of him being president sends a cold chill down my spine...He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and it worries me" http://www.ajc.com/opinion/content/opinion/bookman/stories/2008/02/06/bookmaned_0207.html
Can you all remember his rage in 2000, when he trashed evangelical Christians, and compared Rev. Robertson and the late Rev. Falwell to Farrakhan and Sharpton? He has repeatedly lost his temper in his low-stress job as a US Senator. How is he going to handle the high stress of the Oval Office? Is he mentally and psychologically up to it? If conservatives make him mad when he is President, such as opposing a second attempt at amnesty, what do you think he will do to them? Unleash the IRS? Worse?
McCain's believes that America owes him the Presidency, because he suffered as a POW in Vietnam. He does not believe that non-Veterans have the right to question any of the pig-headed decisions he makes. His hateful attacks on Romney during the last primary debate, denigrating Romney's achievements as a businessman, and saying that he did not serve his country for profit, was deeply troubling. And his twisting of Romney's comments about Bob Dole, to hint at Romney's lack of military service, was just nasty.
When he was under investigation over his involvement in the Keating Five scandal in the 1980s, he repeatedly played the Vietnam card, which intimidated those investigating him. The implication was that veterans who have been in combat deserve special treatment, and cannot be subjected to the same laws as the rest of us. McInsane has played the Vietnam card far more than John Kerry.
What do you think would happen, if congress were to try to impeach him for misconduct as President? He would constantly remind the congressmen that they were not tortured in Nam.
If Russia was to p!ss him off, would he bomb them? Do you trust McNuts with nukes?

The American people will have the following choices:
A nut with his thumb on the nuclear button, or
A liberal who willingly gives up our country to Islam.
I remember the Kennedy years during the Cuban crisis when there was the possibility of a nuclear holocaust, and I also remember my 20 years living and working in the Middle East among Muslims. If I had to make a choice between the two conditions, I would prefer living with a nuclear threat many times over.

Where is Johnny Smith to handle Greg Stillson when you need him?
PS: The one person who gets this one will need to post...
But which Johnny Smith, Christopher Walken or Michael Anthony Hall?

Do you think he would hold a grudge? If, within the first 30 minutes of his presidency, North Viet Nam is turned into a glass bottomed self lighted parking lot, well...
To: mkjessup
Walken. I like his edginess.

Well said, the stability of some of the posters on this site is far more problematic.......
Actually, it's the stability of supporters of McCain who call themselves conservative that is the real problem

I think that congress has a lot to say in what the president does. Certainly the Donks will try to stop him at ever turn. And we still have a group of RINOS that can mess up anything he attempts to do. His temper problem bothers me more than anything else. Perhaps a VP that is a cool individual would be in order.

- Ronaldus Maximus once joked about bombing the Russians
BIG difference pal, Reagan was kidding around while doing a microphone check, and everyone knew that, and except for the scumbags who conveniently let an off the cuff remark NOT intended for public consumption get leaked to the media, not one damn soul would have ever known about it. McCain has used that 'bomb bomb Iran' gag way too many times. I'm actually in favor of bombing the shiite out of Iran, but no need to telegraph that message by trying to do some lame stand up.
- He has already explained that by gooks he meant only the Vietnamese communists who tortured him. You can call him insensitive if you like, but that does not make him unstable.
I think I trust Senator Thad Cochran's judgment more than I trust your explanation.
Nothing personal.

“This is an absolutely ridiculous post. You sound like the whiny leftists that said Reagan was mad and could not be trusted with nukes. Quit the histrionics.”
I agree with you. The vitriolic tone on this site has begun to rival the Daily Kos or Democratic Underground, sans the
Move on. numerous F-bombs.
I guess the whiners just don’t get it. We didn’t have a good or serious conservative candidate in this race. Face the facts whiners, shut up and go find something productive to do. Your emotional outburst is classless, disgraceful and totally unproductive.

Well sparky, I'm not a McCain supporter.
But this thread shows my previous post to be true. Anyone who would say we should worry about McCain nuking someone out of anger is truly KOS like and somewhat deranged in their thinking process.

Do you think he would hold a grudge? Grudges are the only thing McCain is capable of holding. He holds a grudge against Bush - for "stealing" the 2000 presidential nomination away from him, he holds a grudge against conservative talk shows - for mocking him, he holds a grudge against the American people - for selecting a "dumb fratboy" instead of him 8 years ago...the list goes on.
McCain is an unstable, egotistical, backstabbing little man who through his prior behavior has shown himself to be unfit for command.

The Obama crowd is beginning to remind me of The Manson Family.
I'll take McCain.
I've noted the Stillson comparison too. Martin Sheen was great in the McCain (I mean) Stillson role in the movie.

You obviously missed the famous 'Bug Zapper' thread, and I say that because you're still here. LOL
