Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?

Can you make the case without bringing up the War?

Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?

Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)

Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?

Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?

Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?

Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

Can you?

The ball is in your court.

Do you honestly believe that a grumpy old, angry guy like McCain can win? You are wasting your vote in a quixotic quest.

If you’ve read “Shadow Warriors” by Ken Timmerman, it’s far worse than you or I even knew.

I don't believe he has ever advocated a tax increase.

His global warming nonsense would impose a huge tax increase.

Thanks a hell of a lot for electing the Democrats this fall.

If we're gonna be forced to endure a big government solution to "man made" global warming.....

if we're gonna be forced to accept amnesty for 20-million plus illegals .....

if we're gonna open the floodgates to MORE third world workers flooding across our borders......

If we're gonna close Gitmo and allow terrorists into our court system....

I'd rather have Hillary push it through because at least the Republican Congress will then fight it (hopefully).....

If McCain is President, the wimpy Republicans will just go along to get along with it all .....

And the GOP will get the blame for the further destruction of America.

And don't for a moment think the media won't put it squarely on the back of Republicans even if they were liberal Democrat ideas.

Years ago I lived in Arizona and still spend some time there and have friends and relatives there. I have encountered people who support and brag on him in Arizona...but they are all Democrats!!

“He would go a long way towards assuring conservatives if he were to choose a running mate who is acceptable to them.”

how????, why???

he’ll change his stripes/positions to match that vp????

delusion

you can either support him, for any good/bad/indifferent reason you want, but i cannot understand, if you don’t support him now, just what difference - in terms of what he will or will not do in office - that ANY vp will be the determining factor for

his admin will be HIS, his policies/positions will be HIS and no VP is going to make a dimes worth of difference in what he thinks or does - a maverick control freak does not create a team to bring an idea to him and then shoot it down or accept it because of what his figurehead vp thinks

he is not like GWB, thinking he needs a wise VP to help him decide which cabinet/policy official to take sides with; in fact he does not seek outside council from anyone but his own personal staff - which he already has

if he chooses YOUR vp choice he will do so to snooker you, to get your vote, not to reflect any new nuance in his thinking

I will support a McCain/Romney ticket, or a McCain/Barry Goldwater ticket, whichever comes first.

I expect a McCain/Romney ticket, and I’ll pull for it happily.

There is no freeper that saw Romney’s speech at CPAC today that can object to that ticket.

I DO believe the war against the jihadis is the great, existential struggle of our time.

Frankly, I'm NOT afraid of being attacked or over-run by the alQaeda army coming across the Potomac or Delaware Rivers anytime soon.

The American military and people are much too strong and on guard against that.

The biggest threat to my children and grand-children is the flood of third world socialists streaming across our borders, changing our school systems from Judeo-Eurocentric to a socialist-Latin style multi-cultural system.

Can't you see that??

The city I work in.... you can't go two blocks for a cup of coffee without having to navigate your way through Eduadoran gangs, MS-13 streetcorner thugs, and six different languages.

I can't even buy a sandwhich in English anymore.

We CANNOT continue to absorb these third world low-run people at this alarming rate.

We don't have to stop immigration altogether.... we just have to slow it down to the point we can assimilate what is already here.

McCain is scared to death of the multi-culturalists....

He wants their love and adulation too much to stand up for what is right.

Speaking of McCains wife, do you think the Clintons and Obama will use this?

Does anyone on this forum honestly believe McCain can beat either Hill/Bill or Obama?

Even if conservatives vote for him?

And republicans vote for him?

And Independents vote for him?

And Reagan Democrats vote for him?

Does anyone have any IDEA of the amount of youth vote that Obama will get out????

McCain not only called us racist- he called us lazy elitists- I seem to recall him saying something on the order of Americans wouldn’t pick lettuce if you paid them $50 an hour. That really struck me wrong- at the time I had a daughter working construction and another daughter working in an onion processing shed and both were making just about minimum wage and working their butts off. So if I am now expected to vote for the man, someone will have to tell me how to erase my memory.

But which is the LEAST offensive? I really do not get the logic behind the refusal to support the least of two offenses.

McCain would almost certainly do something Hillary could not: push socialist ideas under the guise of "conservatism". Hillary would push those same ideas, but she wouldn't be able to muddle people's understanding of what "conservatism" means the way McCain would. You might not see that as a major concern, but I consider it to be huge.

"You mean the way he treated Don Rumsfeld?"

Rumsfeld was a nice guy, but he was going the wrong direction..The surge is working, just ask Nancy Pelosi...Getting Rumsfeld out was worth getting the rats to admit that the war is not lost.

Hey, finally a good reason to vote for Juan McAmnesty! He might blow his cool and in a fit of temper win World War 4 for us!

You are so right- I get chills thinking about him being the one to deal with China, Iran, and North Korea to name just a few.
