Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?

Can you make the case without bringing up the War?

Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?

Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)

Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?

Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?

Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?

Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

Can you?

The ball is in your court.

>>>Hey GG Liddy on FNS just called us suicide bombers.<<<

The first time "suicide bomber" was used in the context of one that would vote for a Democrat President as a Republican was on the Bill Bennett radio show this morning about 4:30AM Seattle time.

A caller described himself as that after saying he would vote for Hillary or Obama over McCain.

I'm not joining the jihad. I will not work for McCain, but I will work for good solid conservatives for Congress and I will reluctantly, very reluctantly, make a mark next to McCains name in November. He's bad, but not all bad. Hillary is rotten and Obama is vacant, air-headed and unseasoned.

There will be a country left after McCain is through. There won't be anything worth saving after Hillary or O'bama are done.

I was in a war once when my country turned her back on me. I will not be part of that happening again. I will gag and vote McCain.

I was too, and McCain turned his back on all the MIAs and POWs left in Viet Nam by insisting we give up on them. He is afraid of what they will say if they ever return. He does not want America to hear from them.
I will NEVER vote for him. My only dilemma is if I vote democrat, or just leave that part blank.

I’ll vote for him if he selects Hunter as VP and promises to die within 3 months.

I support John McCain. I don’t have to offer any reasons to you because you already know them. It’s time for Freepers to be mature and support our nominee.

I am one conservative that recognizes the importance of protecting control of the White House from our enemies, both foreign and domestic. I will therefore be supporting John McCain in November. Those of you that want to take your toys and go home should remember how it worked out for Republican voters that were angry with Bush 41, so they voted for Perot.

Certainly. This is a winnable race.

Let’s all pull together and defeat the Democrat nominee in November.

Agreed.

A no vote is a yes vote for Shillery or Barak Hussein.

All the rest doesn't matter if you're dead.

Don’t forget that Wheaton still doesn’t have any taverns, just liquor in restaurants. The Gables bar still stands outside of town surrounded the the rest of Wheaton! (Went to Wheaton College just one year, then transferred)

“I not trying to be obtuse, but are you serious? Or making a funny?”

I’m serious. I’m trying to point out that occasionally he is a “Maverick” when it’s the Republicans (usually along with most of the Democrats) who are wrong.

That’s far from enough to have made him my first choice, but it is easily enough to put him ahead of either of the Democrats.

So to those who say there is no differnce, I say this: Basically McCain and Hillary are the same with the exception of taxes, spending, the role of Government, Healthcare, Iraq, Iran, the GWOT in General, Social Security, Abortion, and Judges.
But he's not the "perfect" Candidate so how can you vote for him?

I think he needs to have a total physical with full body scans and release it. I have always thought his melanomas are a problem. I am not trying to be nasty. Someone on another thread said the doc they worked for said he had the cancer in his nodes, and I would be amazed if he does not.

You mean the way he treated Don Rumsfeld?

Abd let us not forget the respect McCain showed for those Swift boat veterans, how he came out and cast aspersions on those war veterans in favor of his buddy, John Kerry.

Who he was considering running with by the way...such a loyal guy...watching his back should one of our top priorities, of course!.

On that note I think the Almighty is allowing some liberal give here. GB was elected right before disaster from Satan struck. The President held firm and destroyed that wickedness. (Yes, I believe God is in charge of this nation)

What really sickens me more than the thought of McCainiac winning the Pubbie nomination, or even more than an Obama or Hillary presidency, is the thought of seeing my fellow conservatives here on FR adjusting their seating positions to accommodate Juan in their backsides by the time of the convention.

This man needs to be loudly booed from the floor of that convention, and repudiated by everyone who really believes in conservative values, the likes of which have been contemptuously spurned by Juan McPain. Whatever Hillary would do to us is far better than selling our souls to this evil man.

If you vote for McCain, you’re electing the democraps.

This statement is emotional crap and not rooted in the real world.

Please, I beg you, my FRiend, educate yourself. Find the areas where we agree with John McCain. There are many.

And in the arenas where we disagree...let's secure a place at the table where our voices can be heard.

I'm hoping we can let go of the personal and move to the a place where we can be politcally smart.

Will you join me?

“lol...pretty safe vote when you know it is gonna pass anyway.”

Maybe, but it was a “safe vote” that 96 other Senators didn’t make.
