Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?

Can you make the case without bringing up the War?

Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?

Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)

Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?

Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?

Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?

Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

Can you?

The ball is in your court.

“And why is Checkers trying to protect the Hildabeast and Obamasama while someone makes a futile attempt to justify inflicting John McCain on us?”

Huh?

Sounds like he's a mental case.

Some of these people will will wind up in straight jackets before November and still end up voting McCain to stop the Marxists.

Now that John McCain is our candidate, I support him, will campaign for him and send him money. Here's why:

The Dimms will raise taxes, McCain will not

The Dimms are pro abortion, McCain is not

The Dimms will cut and run from Iraq, McCain will not

The Dimms will socialize medicine, McCain will not

The Dimms will add hundreds and hundreds of billion in new spending, McCain will not

The Dimms will "fix" social security by raising taxes, McCain wants personal accounts

The Dimms are for appeasement with Iran, McCain is not

The Dimms will appoint Ginsbergs and Stevens, McCain will appoint more Roberts's.

So to those who say there is no differnce, I say this: Basically McCain and Hillary are the same with the exception of taxes, spending, the role of Government, Healthcare, Iraq, Iran, the GWOT in General, Social Security, Abortion, and Judges.

I think we should all form a club. We can sit back and watch everybody fuss and fight. LOL

Actually, it was quite a relief when I realized I have nothing to agonize over. My son, on the other hand, lives in VA. He called me tonight to get my opinion on what he should do. The only advise I could give him was to enjoy the summer and worry about it in the Fall. Who knows what’ll happen by then.

Not that I know of. I’ve wondered too. That growth is rather large and obvious.

I know it’s bleak, but the real questions are, What are we going to do now?
Should our primary effort be short term or long term? We don’t have a lot of options.
We can all join another party and build it into a contender. {might take years}
We can play dead or even vote Democrat so they’ll get the blame when everything goes to hell. {sure they will, /sarc}
We could squeeze McVain for all the promises we can get out of him {knowing he will shaft us} in exchange for our vote this year. - Meanwhile we groom a real conservative to run against him continually, kind of like the Dems have done to W since 2001.

“Ok. here’s a reason, in 1995 he was one of only 4 Senators to oppose a pork filled Highway Bill that cost $286 Billion.”

I not trying to be obtuse, but are you serious? Or making a funny?

I’ll vote for McCain if it’s McCain vs Clinton.

If it’s McCain vs Obama ... well ... I don’t think he has a chance so it doesn’t really matter.

The reason these rinos screw us over and over is because they never get punished for it. It's time for personal responsibility!!!!

... special friend Mike Huckabee

Not that good of a special friend. Without Huckabee in the race, McCain a minimum of 100 more delegates by now. Romney's showing in Illinois and California would have been replicated in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Arkansas at the least.

No.

In his speech today, he said, “Secure the border FIRST.”

Note the adverb. A sobering warning.

however i 100% DON’T want a jackass in the white house

Apparently you didn't get the memo. McCain is a closet jackass (just like Lindsey "Republican by Day, Democrat by Night" Graham, John Warner, et al).

Just remember, the lesser of two evils is still evil.

McCain was not my choice — Romney was — but he’s a LOT better than Hillary Clinton or Obama. I think his VP will be more conservative, and probably much younger, since McCain is in his seventies.

My wife still thinks whoever wins will be a one-term President. The real race is 2012.
