A Hebron High School student said a member of the "Jena Six" choked him and then pushed his head into a bench, bruising his eye, according to an arrest warrant affidavit released by Denton County on Thursday.
Bryant Purvis, 19, was charged with assault and released from Denton County Jail early Thursday morning after posting $1,000 bond.

According to a police affidavit, Mr. Jones, 18, said he was approached by two other students who asked if he had flattened the tires of a car. Mr. Jones denied responsibility. He said he then felt someone walk up behind him, grab his neck and choke him. Snuck up behind the guy and choked him out, kind of like the sucker punch that took out whitey back in LA. And 3-on-1 this time. Seems Mr. Purvis has himself a modus operandi.
