Hahaha man-crush.
Geez, if I did I would have to get in line. He’s got a lot of people pretty far up his —
My thoughts EXACTLY!
We've may have missed the opportunity to have a truly GREAT President.
There is still a remote possibility that Mitt can pull it off at the convention.
McCain has plenty of opportunity to self-destruct between now and then.
And I believe with all my heart that Mitt would crush either of the Democrat mental light-weights with his superior intellect and statesmanship.
He's got them outclassed at EVERY angle.
I found the speech inspiring—though I doubt it is the last we will hear from him (which gives me at least some hope for the future).
Thanks, -Wade Englund-
I’ve heard Gov Romney before on a few occasions and seen him speak. He’s always been just as articulate as he was earlier.
I am saddened that Romney suspended his campaign.
I could not agree more! If he had made that speech two months ago it would have been a great unifier to our party:-( Oh well , now we are stuck with the reluctant hero who can figure out if he is a conservative or a liberal.
exactly what a great speech compared to that democrat-lite speech he gave on super tuesday
I couldn’t support Romney, but it does sadden me that the inevitable has happened. A liberal gasbag is going to be the nominee, and this year is a complete wash for Conservatism.
Well, Republican Party, I am registering as an independent today, and I don’t know if I’ll ever come back.
I have only voted for one non-Republican in my life, and it was a person who had been a Republican his whole life. It is time for a solid third party.
I believe an extended methodical effort needs to be mounted to develop a third party over the next five to ten years.
It needs to start at the bottom and develop to the top. It needs to have a means test to make sure it’s ranks remain true to certain beliefs. It needs to field spokespersons who are true believers and not some watered down Bill Krystol type.
I’m through voting for democrats who are too chicken-s**t to register as one.
Young man. Maybe it’s his Ronald Reagan moment, opening him up for the future.
If McInsane doesn’t tap him, I hope Romney spends the next four years DOING conservatism, if his heart is really changed. Build his sorely-lacking cred.
THEN maybe he can run to replace President Clinton or President Obama.
Anybody who wouldn’t sell out or whore themselves for power is a potential good leader.
I don’t think that is really the case. The mistake he made was in trying NOT to appear conservative when he was running for office in Massachusetts. As Coulter said, he was a conservative leaning to the left in order to placate a liberal constituency. If you recognized that fact from the beginning, then you had no difficulty identifying him as the most conservative leader in the field.
LOL!

Great effort. It will be remembered.
Nope, this is politics...I've been to war!
The only LEADERSHIP we have is RUSH!!!
Nope you have Rush...I don't! You seem to have the anger that he enjoys manipulating his mind-numbed audience with as well!
Me too, but I notice his choice of words, “suspended his campaign.” In other words, he’s left an opening if the world changes in his direction before the convention, and with McCain, it could well happen. My suggestion is that if you have not had a chance yet to vote, then vote for Romney anyway. It would be devastating if McCain tanked for some reason between now and then, and Huckabee became the nominee by default.
We are the losers.
Then what? McCain, Kerry’s reject or Hildabeast? Unless Osama makes it.
