I would like to see MR get enough delegates to keep JM from winning and then see a floor fight at the convention.

Romney should go before the Nation and simply tell them that if McCain, or the broken Washington establishment, is what he wants then he will get out of the way. It amazes me how a person like McCain, who basically was in the tank, can win the Republican nomination. It wouldn’t surprise me though if McCain asked Hillary to be his running mate.

Fighting on may enable him to do the following:

  1. Speak at the convention to represent those of us who don't support open borders, McCain-Feingold or tithing to the state church of global warming.
  2. Ensure McCain has to pick the Huckster as VP so they can both lead the party to defeat and destruction.
  3. Show the leadership necessary to lead the party out of the political wilderness in four years or build a new party.

George Soros bought ownership of the Democrat Party in 2004-2006. He is now buying ownership of the Republican Party with McCain-Huckabee. The Huckster just may not be bright enough to figure this out.

Mitt can only possibly win as a third party candidate. Unless McCain becomes ill, the Republican fight is over for 2008.

McCain isn’t very popular amongst conservatives. He’s damaged himself and it’s in the open. He’s not guaranteed to be the nominee. Whether he is or not, WE will NOT be voting for HIM.

Conservatives care about the United States so much ...
that they're willing to DEFEAT McCain to save the nation!!!

McCain needs to wake up and smell the "VILE"!!!

"Bipartisanship" Is A Dirty Word; and RUSH: "We want to defeat them"

deny mcamnesty the majority and do backroom deals in the convention (with unpledged delegates). just like McAmnesty and Huckabee did in west virginia.

He doesn’t have to “win” he just needs to keep McCain from winning into so we go into a full of wheeling and dealing and horse trading. McCain is hugely unpopular with the party’s base and that’s who controls conventions.

McCain needs more than half of the remaining delegates. It is possible to stop him in time

Well he got my “WORTHLESS” NYS vote and today I mailed out my new voter registration application with the Conservative Party of NY. Of course if the NYS Conservative Party ends up endorsing McQueeg I’ll quickly switch to Libertarian or something. GOPL the new GOP, Grand Old Progressive Lite. If we are intent on sending a Liberal to Washington they’re going to have a (D) after their name by God.
