I feel strangely lost. Going through withdrawal symptoms. Thinking, Rumsfeld-like, about the "known unknowns" versus the "unknown unknowns."
Can anybody out there help me???
Once again, these pollsters were very wrong. Look at California - they predicted a tie w/Romney and McCain, but McCain won by over 8 points! I know there were absentee ballots to consider, but the polling seemed to indicate that it would be a victory for Romney.
I’ve decided to stay away from polls for now. Too unreliable as of late.
Some polls got it right. Others got it wrong. Zogby got it opposite.
Rasmussen has underestimated McCain's support because he uses too stringent a test for likely voters, which fails when turnout is up.
Also, some of the polls mixed in the early voters, and some didn't, IIRC.
