Here comes Big George again. Billionaire George Soros is weighing in heavily with more cash, delivering $2.5 million to a new political organization called Fund for America.
According to a year-end campaign report filed with the Internal Revenue Service and uncovered by The Times' Dan Morain, Fund for America was organized by Taco Bell heir Rob McKay, former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta and Anna Burger of the Service Employees International Union.
The SEIU matched Soros with another $2.5 million, too. Other major donors include investor Donald Sussman, who has given $1 million and AKT Development of Sacramento.

Fund for America is the liberal answer to the conservative Freedom's Watch, organized by former political aides to President Bush and funded by wealthy Republicans including billionaire Sheldon Adelson of Las Vegas. But as a nonprofit corporation, Freedom's Watch is not required to disclose its donors.

"Let me get right to the point. The Far-Left billionaire George Soros is building a "Left-Wing juggernaut" aimed at electing liberal candidates this fall by filling the airwaves with misleading ads.

Here's the story.
According to the Los Angeles Times, George Soros is building a new organization (ironically named Fund for America) "to help Democrats win the White House and retain control of Congress." According to the paper, the Fund was started as "the liberal answer to the conservative Freedom's Watch."
Freedom's Watch - that's us. We're the ones who have been taking the fight to the Liberals on their plans to raise taxes, provide benefits for illegal aliens, play politics with the troops, and cut-and-run in Iraq .
The good news is we got their attention. The bad news is it looks like we really got their attention!
For starters, Soros is writing a personal check of $2.5 million to neutralize us. The Big Labor bosses are pitching in another $2.5 million. And that's just for starters. The Wall Street Journal reports the Fund for America plans to spend $200 million this election cycle. Freedom's Watch has certainly put them on notice.

In an odd way, what Soros and his gang are doing is a compliment. After all, we have been remarkably successful in getting "our side of the story" out to literally millions of Americans. In the first 6 months, we:
1.) Launched a major national media blitz urging Americans to support our troops and fight the "cut and run" members of Congress who wanted to defund our brave men and women in uniform;
2.) Fought MoveOn.org's slanderous attacks on our troops and forced the New York Times to stop giving them preferential advertising rates;
3.) Denounced Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Columbia University and called him out for his anti-American rhetoric;
4.) Forced NBC to air our non-partisan, non-political ads thanking the troops this holiday season; and
5.) Educated Ohioans about the issue of illegal immigration during last year's special election and prevented the seat from going to an out-and-out Liberal.
We have achieved a great deal over the past few months - but much more needs to be done. And George Soros and his liberal friends will do everything possible to stop us!"

Well, I pray every morning as I prepare for the day. This morning, I spent a long time praying for good things in November (i.e. no pinkos in the White House).
Back to wishing that Soros has to live in cardboard box under a bridge.
