Why Mitt Romney Should Stay In
2-06-2008 | my favorite headache

What are the next states that Mitt Romney could compete in? Let's break it down.

Romney has won: Massachusetts, Utah, Michigan, Wyoming, Maine, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, and North Dakota.

Then we have states he finished 2nd and got delegates.

Kansas, Washington, and Louisiana will be next in 3 days...Mitt can win in Washington...but Huckabee will probably take Kansas and La.

Then we have D.C., Maryland, and Virginia on the 12th just 3 more days later. Something tells me those will all go McCain.

16th is Guam..that will go McCain since it is all military.

Wisconsin on the 19th along with Washington Primary. Those would go Romney.

Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and American Samoa are all after that and lean liberal so those would go McCain.

Then comes March 4th where we have Ohio, Texas,Vermont, and Rhode Island. Romney if he sticks around could take Vermont, Rhode Island and have a shot at Ohio. McCain or Huckabee in Texas.

March 11th is Mississippi that will go Huckabee if he is still around.

April 22nd is Pennsylvania and that could go Mitt or McCain.

May 6th - Indiana and North Carolina - That could go Mitt/Huckabee

May 13th - Nebraska - That could go Romney

May 20th - Kentucky/Oregon - That could go Huckabee/Romney

May 27th - Idaho - Romney

June 3rd - New Mexico/South Dakota - I see that split for McCain/Romney.

I don't see why Mitt should drop out at the moment...he still has a lot of wins in his corner and has room to pick up at least 10 if not a dozen more and make the convention a blood bath that McCain is begging for.

Then again..this is just my opinion.

let Romney keep the money he still has left and invest it in the private sector where it can do some good.

With Obama or Hillary on the way to the White House? That would be crazy. Stocks are going to be tumbling for a long time.

Hawaii is somewhere in that mix, as well. They’ve been caususing for some time now. Kind of a weird system they have there.

Mitt just won Alaska and of course the bimbo round table on Fox just laughed at it.

Fox is so in the tank for McCain.

There is no reason for Romney to stay in a race he has absolutely no chance of winning.

He got his head handed to him in every battleground state -- California, Missouri and Georgia.

It's over.

Mitt Romney should stay in because he is a lot of people’s last choice and if anyone can make a come from behind victory it would be him in this years Primary.

McCain isn’t conservative and it’s possible Republicans could wake up and realize that if real conservatives keep the pressure on him.

I know I have some friends living in Ohio who plan to vote for him. Mitt has the resources to keep this together. He knows he got screwed by McCain in West Virginia with the Huckabee scam. He could have had an 8 state win today along with a good showing in California to pick up a good amount of delegates.

He should stay in the race up til Pennsylvania to see how he can take it. Remember..Santorum supports him and that gives Conservative cred.

“There is no reason for Romney to stay in a race he has absolutely no chance of winning.”

You think McCain has enough gas to get to the finish line?I don’t think he has enough delegates in him.

Kansas is a CAUCUS..
Romney could very well win that...

Louisiana is probably going HUCKABEE, unless Jindal does something spectacular for Romney, but I wouldn’t count on that....

ALSO-
Margins are CLOSING in several California Districts, with only about 30% counted...

This isn’t NEAR over yet...

I think there is a 95% chance McCain wins the nomination. His victory looks inevitable and that sways voters.

Huckabee is the only one that can beat him. He needs Romney to pull out to have a chance, though. A state like Texas could be a place for him to make a stand.

There are 2 reasons I am up this late.

1. A 7 day old baby girl

2. Watching California/Tornado coverage

The late night Alaska win was very welcome to make up for that MO. loss.

Yeah, but Texas, Mississippi, and Kentucky are the only states left where I see Huckabee having much of any ground to be made. Maybe Indiana. Probably not Ohio or Virginia.

The list of states where I could see Romney winning is much larger.

If we want Mitt to stay in...

We must put our money where our mouth is.

He needs to see our support in the way of contributions.

There is no way he can do it without support.

He needs our confidence and our support!!!

I’ll agree with that...why should he be expected to keep putting his own money in if he can’t get any decent grassroots support...especially now?

You think McCain has enough gas to get to the finish line?

Probably not but you get him one of these and he could go on forever.

Romney should not drop out because mccain will blow it!!

I am telling you, mccain will not be able to contain himself at the CPac meeting. He will finally be exposed for the liberal he is and will blow his stack!!!

John Mccain is a phony, MY FRIENDS he cannot and should not be trusted.

Go to Romney website and contribute today to show support!!!!
