Sure, Huckabee will veer to the right because...why?

A man can honestly and honorably veer to the right. I don’t know about the intentions of others who may have begun touting more conservative positions to get conservative votes, but I still believe that it is possible for men to be better, greater, and more “right” that they had been in the past. I think Duncan Hunter thinks so, too, and perhaps Duncan Hunter has Mr. Huckabees ear. I can easily see a Mr. Hunter influencing a Mr. Huckabee toward the right. The two actually do have very similar world views at the core, and Mike Huckabee probably has very high regard for Duncan Hunter on a personal and “faith” level.

Not without some force acting on them. Positing Duncan Hunter as that influence is rather groundless IMO. If they're anything like normal people, they are not going to spend any time with each other, and if they do they will spend time together because they like and accept each other, "as-is, where-is," politics aside.

So again, Huckabee should veer right because...? There's no reason to. Right doesn't look like a winner today, and it has already taken Huckabee as far as he's going to get.

Alright, my first answer was a good one, but since you asked for a second answer . . . Mike Huckabee might just veer right because not all men are as cynical as you are.

I do know enough about Duncan Hunter’s background, affiliations and faith to believe that it is VERY possible that the two men are having very regular communications on several levels.

EXACTLY!

The precious right to vote is yours to do with as you please.

Indeed people who ‘waste” their vote and support on nothing more than an image should be the LAST ones to tell anyone who to vote for.

Vote as you see fit, even if it is a CONSCIENCE decision to not vote for any of these clowns,

The only wasted vote is the one forgotten or never made apathy.

I am proud to have had the opportunity to vote for Duncan Hunter yesterday. Wish we could draft the Thompson/Hunter team. America needs them more than ever right now.

Sorry guys, I can't vote for Fred now. I'm too upset with MCCain. I just can't get myself to vote in a manner that might have the very slight possibility of helping McCain.

BUT I FEEL I NOW HAVE TO VOTE FOR MITT.

I'M NOW A FREDHEAD FOR MITT.

(flame me all you want - that's just where I stand now, and I'm admitting it.)

“What really gets me is so much of the anti-Fred talking points revolved around his age and look who is going to be our candidate...”

Juan McClame is nothing more than a little squid in a suit.

I had long considered leaving the Repblican Party and joining the Conservative Party, but there wasn’t a compelling reason before. Now there is.

After watching the Nixonian dirty tricks of the McVain campaign yesterday, I wouldn't vote for McQueeg as sh*t-shoveler at a stockade.

We are all less of a party for having the MSM determine the candidates. My hope is people wake up and see McQueeg for the insane candidate who will do ANYTHING to get nominated.

My biggest problems with Romney is that he sways with the wind and never even tried to stand up for anything Conservative. He picked a few token “fights” for public consumption, but never put anything on the line. If he won, he’d be a doormat for the Senate.

He is not spreading a false statement. He was responding to someone else’s post about how “Fred betrayed us by NOT endorsing Romney”.
