Looks like Huck will win Missouri as well. Good nite for Huck. So far, a bad night for Mitt.

If Huckabee were to pull off a win in MO, to go along with WV, GA, TN, AL and AR, then he might get a little more time at the next debate.

Yea, I think Romney will still end up with more total delegates for the day and overall than Huckabee. Not a great outcome in what was supposed to be a two man race.

McCain will get the gap he needs to make Romney’s path the the nomination science fiction.

I think it’s almost funny that all the Myth fans kept saying that Fred was the stalking horse. It’s now blatantly obvious who the stalking horse was all the time.

Who in his right mind would vote for either the HuckUsAll or McInsanity. The Republican party has become a joke and these are sad times.

This defies common logic, doesn’t it?

I’m no Huck fan, but he is exposing all the myths of punditry, and I love it.

Huck just keeps winning states no one thought he could win.

Feels like the hand of God.

Romney gets STOMPED in the South.

Between the two of them, McCain and Huckster are getting close to 70% of the votes.

Huckster has already won WV, AR, TN, and AL. He’s going to also win GA and MO. Except for OK, it was a great night.

McCain finished second everywhere he didn’t win. Stealing the block of NE states from Rudy was huge.

Republican primary voters have spoken. In the key geographic areas of our party, namely the South and Southwest, the top two choices were McCain and Huckabee. Romney has been rejected, in my opinion.

One has to think that Thompson’s half-ass effort kept him from winning this thing. After watching tonight play out, he’s the candidate he could have pulled from both McCain and Huckabee voters. Instead, it’s looking like a shared ticket. The vacuum was there, but Fred just couldn’t fill it. It’s a shame. I’m glad that at least the Republicans are putting up their strongest general election candidate and not Mitt Romney. He would have been a disaster.

I do believe I am in my right mind and I proudly pulled the lever for Huckabee today. I’ll take him any day over McCain or Romney.

True. It was a bad night for the USA on Jan 19, when Hunter had to drop out of the race.

I think the issues that Southerns care about most are pro-guns, pro-traditional values, and pro-life.

Huckabee has been correct on those issues far a long long time. He has never been pro-abortion, pro-gun control, or pro-gay rights. That matters to people

That is the reason he did well in the South.

I showed up to vote this morning only to be told I already had. Happened to several other Republicans while I was there. Guess what? My Provisional doesn’t count for 7-10 days. Spoke to the other Pubbies and they were all irate. I’ve been voting for 20 years. Never happened before. BTW, the voting site was moved and poorly marked. What a surprise.

Super Tuesday Scorecard

McCain - OK (41), NY (101), DE (18), NJ (52), CT (30), IL (70), AZ (53)

Huckabee - AR (35), AL (48), WV (30), TN (55), GA (72)

Romney - UT (36), MA (43), ND (26), ?MT (25), ?MN (41)

? - Leading Caucus, but hasn't won yet.

NOTE:  The number in (##) represents Total number of delegates for the state, not the number won.

Despite all the gloom and doom on Romney, McCain is still far from being able to win the nomination.
