Fox News projects Barack Obama the winner of the Alabama Democrat primary.
If it wasn’t for the mess that is the GOP tonight, I would be enjoying this smackdown of the Clintons a lot more. Still, there is some hope that California and some of the western states will keep Romney in the race. But I’m less optimistic than I was a couple of hours ago.
Wow. That’s astounding. Good for him.
Being a native, and 5th generation Alabamian with relatives who fought for both sides in the Civil War....I would have never ever ever believed it in a million years.
The south has come a long way.
make no mistake, the freedom of this country is at stake now.
No surprise. They think he’s from there, you know, the rhyme and all!
Too little.
Its Clinton vs McCain.
Clinton wins. She strips the military.
The USA becomes a full-blown welfare state and anyone in the $200K-$500K income bracket will get fleeced.
China will invade Taiwan. USA too weak to stand up.
We will be lucky if China doesn’t launch missles against us.
I’m afraid it is not looking all that good for Mitt. The country appears to be drifting even further to the left. McQueeg is all to willing to cut a deal with the dimocRATS. I just fear for our country.
I’m a native as well and I would have believed it.
Not surprising at all. Alabama is predominantly Republican, and therefore voted in the Republican Primary. Those who are not Republican are black. Obama will not win Alabama in the fall.
bama wins bama
The income level included in the fleecing bracket will be much lower than that. Look at the income level where the tax rebate phases out!
You’re a buzz killer.
Another word warper.
You know, it kind of bugs me, the verb “carry” in this context. That party has a way of picking up delegates for disastorus candidates, who then carry the state and thrown it off a cliff. Kind of like boulder-throwing IMO.
