Wow. That’s astounding. Good for him.

Being a native, and 5th generation Alabamian with relatives who fought for both sides in the Civil War....I would have never ever ever believed it in a million years.

The south has come a long way.

Not surprising at all. Alabama is predominantly Republican, and therefore voted in the Republican Primary. Those who are not Republican are black. Obama will not win Alabama in the fall.
