“”Logic 101: Can two belief systems that are diametrically opposite both be valid? Can black be white? Can daylight be nighttime? Logic holds that two opposites cannot both be true.
Thus the assertion of “heresy” (to contradict an orthodox dogma) must apply to one or the other. No “authority” required other than reason.””

Logic with faith hugh. Yep 10,000 interpretations and 10,000 heresies...of course all 1K are absolutely correct so 10k judging other people’s beliefs.

I know the feeling. Walked a lot of blocks for Bush and Blackwell. Well, back to the core remnant and build back up again.

It’s called “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”. Perhaps you may want to look up the term. It’s a nice euphemism for “crooked deal”.

McCain and his family directly benefit from this taxpayer funded deal.

You are reenforcing the mindset shared by McCain that big business/big profit, especially other people’s profit, must be crooked.

Conflict of interest? Is the Arizona stadium the only place that AB has those evil-sounding exclusive rights?
Maybe you think AB should have stepped aside and let Coors have the sponsorship and exclusive rights.

I dislike McCain, but I can’t agree with you on this charge.

I apologize for calling you “lame” last night (it was a long night).

I think what I was trying to illustrate was the hypocrisy of McCain when he slings arrows at Romney over Romney using his money in his campaign. McCain has tons of money which is primarily in trusts that do not have to be fully disclosed publicly. Cindy’s beer money is only a part of the picture.

That being said, it is still unseemly that McCain is directly benefiting financially by pushing through a stadium using $305 million in taxpayer dollars. Was there a bidding process for the contract? Somehow I doubt it.

I wouldn't Have no boss, But I'd be raisin' my lonely Dental Floss

lolol. Never heard that before. Went and looked it up (Pink Floyd???) I've listened to Pink Floyd, of course, but don't recall any dental floss songs. : )

Though that is a good song....I listened to this one before I went to sleep:

Lullabye, by Billy Joel..... : )

No one knows what really went on behind the scenes, and if that wasn’t Bush’s strategy for the next two in the first place.

Based on his record, that certainly is NOT something I could blindly or willingly attribute to him. He's shown himself to have disregarded the conservative base too many times to be afforded that kind of compliment.

progressive jazz.

I was never much into jazz that's probably why I'm sure I only liked a couple of his songs....likely those that got more airplay; but I do like fusion...(like Steely Dan's Aja album...that was one of my favorites back then).

Too late for people to realize this now, but Hunter’s endorsement did not recognize that this “next best choice to vote for” was not a viable nominee. Hunter really ought to have comprehended that he had to go to the next best _electable_ choice...

I feel for you - following his advice - as did many others. Now it is almost inevitable that we’ll get McCain, and even if he were to choose Huck as VP, that is far to liberal a ticket for me to be comfortable with.

Splintering our votes really really hurt conservative thought this nomination.
