Actually, progressive jazz. LOL. He played at my college back in the day. Brilliant musician, and quite, um, different :o)
I was never much into jazz that's probably why I'm sure I only liked a couple of his songs....likely those that got more airplay; but I do like fusion...(like Steely Dan's Aja album...that was one of my favorites back then).
