they said between 170 and 450 delegates. He would need some major wins out west though.

****Nice that McCains mom is still around to see this.****
The fact that she's 96 and still kicking gives McCain a little boost and something he can point to if dems make an issue of McCain's age.

Barf — McShame trying to show some congeniality by congratulating Romney on a hard fought fight.

"would you rather the Democrat run unopposed, than have Mitt Romney run against them?"
Wouldn't care either way.

No....THE Billy Joel....he might be able to come up with a liberal song to rally the troops more than Sharpton would be able to help get us disenfranchised, lol!
Maybe Charlie Daniels.......could work up a little something about the end of the republic.
No doubt!!
The devil went down to Georgia,
he was looking for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind:
he was willin' to make a deal.......

I like and support Romney and voted for him today. But if he went Independent I would oppose him. It would look too much like sour grapes, and a betrayal of the Republican party (which he hasn’t been very faithful too in the first place).
When you loose the game, you need to exit the stage and fall in behind the party nominee. Not form a new team.
Romney will not run as an Independent, and would insure a Democrat victory if he did. He would deserve all the condemnation heaped upon him that so far he has not deserved.

Yeah, since the dot.com explosion in Silicon Valley, we have the West Coast version of the NY Penthouse Class that doesn't have to rub elbows with the riff-raff on the streets.

LOL - i strongly suspect the reason we haven’t has another disaster is because of the incompetence of the Islamists at least as much as anything this Gov’t has done to prevent any attacks.
Check it out, open Borders, no effective screening at ports or airports, etc. Do not mean to ignore the efforts I just do not think they are that effective.
Now, let’s talk about everything else. Under W’s tutelage this country has not kept up with the rest of the world on so very, very many measures.
While I do not heap the entire blame for any failures on W I also do not give him much credit for the few successes (Far too few!) of the past seven years.

They are probably stuffing the ballot boxes out there.

we are at war with jihadist muslims. Are you willing to take the risk that he might be sympathetic? His views are in alignment with the jihadists on our role as a cause of terror.

Arizona, the state that gave us Goldwater and a big defeat, will once again give us a big defeat.
To: Danette
Looks like a big win for McCain in California. I don’t think Mitt or Huck will be able to stop him now, barring some major calamity.

Hey CNN cut the rest of McCain’s speech and nobody woke me up to tell me. Damn!
To: khnyny
Yes, McCains Momma is an oil heiress. Isnt that nice?Yet apparently the real money is in mediocre, flavorless rice beer.

I do think its highly interesting that Hillary beat Ted Kennedy tonightWith what? A lamp? Ashtray?
On the upside, if Monica's x-boyfriend's wife wins the election, maybe we'll get the White House silverware returned.

Good point. I’m not a supporter of his, but I can’t help but think this must be a nice moment for them.
