THERE IS A LEFT-WING conspiracy at loose in the world, dedicated to undoing conservative governance, only the people who see it aren't sure what it is. John McCain is in it, of course, in fact he is the cause of it, as making him president is the ultimate goal. He is blamed for running, (and perhaps, for breathing), but beyond him the face of the threat is less clear. In fact, the faces are those of other conservative stalwarts, who were their heroes and brethren until--until, say, just after the Florida primary, when McCain emerged as a serious threat. These include Mike Huckabee, the once well-thought of former Arkansas governor (and hero of the social conservative part of the movement), who unaccountably refuses to withdraw from the race on their orders; Tom Coburn and Sam Brownback, perhaps the most conservative members of the United States Senate; Jack Kemp, the supply-side Reagan enthusiast; Phil Gramm, the most conservative Republican to run in the 1996 contest; and Ted Olson, the hero of the Federalist Society, who argued and won the case of Bush vs. Gore. (They may also include the late President Reagan's widow, who, according to the Drudge Report, hearts John McCain.)

What are McCain’s credentials? Opposing interrogation of terrorists, working with Juan Hernandez and George Soros to undermine America, bragging falsely about how McCain was the only Republican to support the surge.
Me, I'm not giving up an ounce. There isn't a single policy on which Obama represents me more closely than McCain does. There are plenty where they agree and I don't, but not a single thing Obama is actually better at. To vote against my country and its security for nothing but factional political spite, is indeed something I am free to do, as is jumping off a cliff. But it utterly stupid and immoral, and you won't find this free man doing it.
Back whoever you can in the primary. That is the time to make your voice heard on specific candidate preferences. Back whoever you can get who is best for your country in the general.
I wouldn't vote for nasty McLame if he was the only maniace on the ballot. He's old and senile and erratic, can't be trusted, wouldn't be prudent.

I am sure that is what Know-nothings said when the Republican Party was founded. The key here is an ideological base. The Republican Party leadership as now constituted is little different than the Democrats in their quest for power — and the people be damned. Remember what a powerful response transpired when the Contract With America came out? That was ideology at work. Over a decade a powerful Conservative movement — which I would estimate has a base of 20-30 million adherants, if properly led, could eventually assimilate the Republican Party. It would have to shed the gangrene — the Kemps, the Dole types, the New England types who are move comfortable in the world of Bernie Sanders. Dump the Bushes, the Scowcrofts, the Bakers, the Texas tea sippers. Tell the neocons, you can get aboard or find comfort in oblivion. Revive the Florida Republican Party, which is utterly clueless. Embrace the poor stomped-on California Republicans. Publicize and propagnadize an economic policy that is fair-trade oriented, internationalist but at the same time pro-American. Steal the trade unions from the Democrat Party. Steal Black Americans, who now feel they are being shunted aside in favor of Latinos, from the Democrats; do so through the development of Enterprise Zones and the promise of a metamorphosis of the American education system. Geez, I could go on and on. However, Kansans will still put their money on that Brownback doofus. And Washington chairbound Republicans will still welcome Arnold with open arms. And Arizona Republicans will accept without a whimper Kyl’s endoresement of McCain. To hell with it... as the King of Siam said, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
Except that he ran the 2002 Winter Olympics, where he had to deal with several foreign nations in a diplomatic fashion. I guess that counts as "none".
He lived in France for two years, I guess that counts as "none".
How many times had George W. Bush been overseas when he became President? What type of foreign policy experience did he have?
What about Reagan?
The fact of the matter is that GOVERNORS make better President than do LEGISLATORS.
Mitt is a fine governor. McCain is an unstable legislator. The choice is not only clear, it is CRYSTAL clear: Mitt would be a better Chief Executive.

Oh one more thing. Obama was endorsed by Ted Kennedy and Move On. org endorsed him also. If you think he can win in the general election ,if he is the nominee , think again !

And how is he going to do that, by closing guantanemo? Eliminating waterboarding? Giving terrorists access to non-military courts?
That's the problem a lot of people seem to think because McCain is a war hero, he will therefore fight terrorism. The trouble is, his own words say otherwise.
Nobody can deny that McCain talks to himself, that he voted against the Cornyn amendment, and that he is unable to control himself and goes into rages and shouts obscenities - he does not sound like somebody presidential.

All I’m saying is Hernandez is one of his closest advisors. He has a lot of influence on McCain to the point of getting him to speak at a La Raza rally in 2004.
We cannot have a strong national defense, heck, any national defense with open borders. McCain voted for amnesty and has called building a fence, “That d@mned fence.” He will sell us out.

When was the last time a third party elected a President? I’m not too familiar with American history.
Those are just positions he held. They are not accomplishments or acheivements. McCain’s foreign policy towards Mexico is run by Juan Hernandez.

I agree, but McCain is actually a fascist. That is when military spending is used to drive the economy. Hitler used this method to bring Germany out of The Great Depression.
Maybe they'll change their minds when Brownback's choice, McCain, actually keeps his promise to send Gitmo prisoners to Ft. Leavenworth on his first day in office..
