The Mormon vote, while huge in Utah has much to do with Mitt’s saving the state of Utah from international embarrassment. He is extremely well liked here becaue of his leadership qualities and his politics.

Conversely, Harry Reid is largely hated in Utah.

How do you reconcile this info in your “theory”?

Going out soon to vote Romney who can beat both Democrats, who won’t know what hit them if they have to compete on an economic level. Russert can’t help them now.

I’ll be leaving to caucus soon - I’ll take one of those pre-emptively, though.

And yet, nobody acuses the Latter Day Conservatives of "identity politics". How can that be?

Whaddya mean? The Deseret News over the weekend says that 79% of all political POTUS candidate donations from Utah went to Romney...Now when you take the $ total & then drop out Democratic candidates, it "ups" to about 91% of the GOP candidate pie.

Can you imagine what the MSM & FReepers would do if you took the state with the largest Evangelical make-up and then told them that 91% of the GOP POTUS political donations went to an Evangelical? They'd be labelled as biased, as identity sheep, as even "bigots."

Beat that extreme liberal Romney!

Good grief. Romney is the most conservative candidate out there. For the life I failt to udnerstand support for Huckabee but to each his own.

But as FYI a local talk show host was going to vote for Huck but changed to Romney. Why? Because of the crap Huck said about Sean Hannity supporting Romney because he was on Clear Channel. I mean that was one stupid comment Huckabee made there.

Here in OK, both Hunter and Thompson were on the ballot. I looked at it for a very long time, sorely tempted, but in the end, I wrote my line for Romney. In reality, I voted against McCain, much more than for Romney.

I think I’ll take a full dose of Nyquil and fall asleep for 8 hours, trying to forget that I have voted for Romney. I’m angry that I was forced to do that.

If Hillary lost New Jersey, Arizona, and Connecticut she’s probably toast. Now who is Ann Coulter going to campaign for this fall?

Voted about 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Woman on one corner jumping up and down with a sign that said "Latinos for Obama." She was still jumping up and down when I came out.

Diagonally across the intersection, a Hillary witch. I started reciting Whitewater, Cattlegate, Travelgate, FBI files, Sandy Berger, Vince Foster . . . When I got to Vince Foster she finally came up with a reply: "Right. They really killed that guy." Nice try. But Hillary is probably going to win a bunch of delegates in New York. GOP is winner-take-all but Dems are not.

Kids were getting out of school, all yelling "Obama!"

Every booth was occupied at my SoCal polling place and there was a line to boot...and at 1:30 p.m.

I have never seen this much action in all my years of voting.

Paul 5 votes, Huckabee 3, Romney 3, McCain 2

Just wait until the other precinct reports. LOL.

All eight. I discounted those who chose to pull out and walk away. I pulled the lever for Mitt - a choice between McCain, Huckabee and Romney is not much of a choice. Let’s have ONE primary day for everyone. I hate that others drove out candidates that I would have liked. Voting for them after they gave up is fruitless.

I've been saying this all along.....all the different primaries do is allow the media to tell us who to vote for. You and I are more informed than the masses ...so can you imagine how many people voted for McCain because the media was all over him as the winner? I was a Fredhead and when he dropped out I was really upset. The rest of the candidates are all poor and in all of my 62 yrs. this might be the first election I sit out. Will only vote to keep Hillary out of the White House. If that means a vote for McCain, I don't know if I can really do it.
