Here we go...
The Democrat nominee needs 2,025 to win.
The Republican nominee needs 1,191 to win.
"Mac....I wish I could quit you"
I went one better and wrote in Ronald Reagan. True, he's dead, but he's got just as good a shot as Fred.
I wrote in Teddy Roosevelt.
yessa massa John, iz gonna be a good step-n-fechit az yo VP. I shore amz.
Well, Romney has much more of a chance than someone who is no longer running. . .
I lit up the Green X for Fred Thompson, and hit the button.
Man, that was wonderful!"
Thank you for voting your conscience!
“I went one better and wrote in Ronald Reagan. True, he’s dead, but he’s got just as good a shot as Fred.”
Write-ins are not allowed in my state during primaries, so I picked the next best candidate.
You know, I never thought of it, but I wonder if Ohio had flipped for sKerry - would this year be the one where we’re all excited about the ascent up the hill, rather than nearing the bottom, like it is now? Would it have been better to pass that softball into the toilet then, rather than the bowling ball that seems like is churning in my Rectosigmoid, right now... I’m very uncomfortable, and anticipate pain...
Yep, that serves about the same purpose as staying home and having a few beers.... Losers.
I agree. My husband and I just voted. We had to wait in a line and I’ve never seen that many voters or voting booths in our precinct. When we finished the line was still as long, and people were streaming in-—with icy rain smashing down outside! It was super.
Even worse, when Thompson endorses McCain it is likely his few delegates go with him. Like it or not, a vote for Thompson is a vote for McCain.

Another example, I would write in my Father, anti-abortion, a penny pincher, he would change entitlements to feed the women, children and elderly peanut butter and baloney sandwiches, and tent city for shelter. What would that do for this election, nothing.
He voted his conscience. What do you plan to do?
Thompson endorses McCain it is likely his few delegates go with him. Like it or not, a vote for Thompson is a vote for McCain.
Point
Better question. Aren’t they supposed to wasit to count absentees until after the polls close?
First, spell the "dog" in "dogwood."
D--O--G. Right!
Now let's spell the "cat" in "catastrophe."
C--A--T. Right again!
Now let's spell the "f--k" in "conservative."
What's that you say? There ain't no f--k in conservative? Well, that's what I've been trying to tell you!
I've seen teams lose the SuperBowl like the Pats did Sunday (17-14). I've seen teams lose the SuperBowl like the Broncos did against the 49ers in '02 (55-10).
3-point loss...45-point loss...the Pats in '08 & the Broncos in '02 were both losers.
(Yeah, that's why the Cato Institute rated Romney a "C" for his economic track record for his guv years--same as what NM guv Bill Richardson got...but that's OK...we all know inconsistent FReepers downgrade Huck for his guv years' economic policies--even tho he's promised to not raise taxes...while they give others a free pass on their economic track record)
In many cases, your right about the Thompson vote. In Arkansas, it appears that a vote for Thompson won't matter too much one way or the other. I voted for Romney because of his immigration record anyway.
The point is you cannot say you are rejecting a candidate and then cast a vote likely to result in support for the candidate you are rejecting.
If someone chooses to protest, they should do so in a way that doesn’t actually strengthen their opposition.
