Thompson endorses McCain it is likely his few delegates go with him. Like it or not, a vote for Thompson is a vote for McCain.

The point is you cannot say you are rejecting a candidate and then cast a vote likely to result in support for the candidate you are rejecting.
If someone chooses to protest, they should do so in a way that doesn’t actually strengthen their opposition.
