And next January, when McDole loses, and a Democrat is sworn in as President, I am going to remember they were a lot of folks who could have made a difference instead of wasting a vote on a candidate, like Thompson, who bowed out.

Yes, conservative parents should work to instill their ideals in their children, but children will go their own way as they're wont to do. The best one can hope for is that, once the real world begins to open their eyes, they will recall the values of their parents and return to them.
I agree. I responded to the post because there wasn't any of that in there, nor in previous posts by that poster as far as I could find on this thread. If I were to post that my son voted liberally on a conservative forum, I'd qualify it with my disappointment or something. It's kinda like letting a child decide what religion they want to be when the parents don't take them to any church. They'll gravitate to what the schools and media tell them, having no foundation at home.
I think you were quoting Churchill, in a round about way ;)

There is massive snow storm going on here in NE Illinois. It might suppress the turnout for Obama and McInsane. I cast my vote for Mitt.
I left my ballot blank for my unopposed super RINO congressman Mark Steven Kirk who is unfit for office.

It was my high honor to vote for this man today. Perhaps history will prove that he was a prophet who was not recognized in his own country. Congratulations, SkyPilot, for voting your convictions. I respect you very much for that!

No vote that a person can live comfortably with afterwards is a wasted vote.
Wrong. If a vote goes for a candidate not in the running, it counts for nothing.
I feel like my votes for W were wasted. Hindsight tells us a lot if our votes were wasted or not...Nobody knows now for sure.

That’s 1 vote for a liberal followed by 1 vote for a liberal with a D next to their name.

I also voted for Fred. I voted my conscience, so I certainly do not believe my vote was wasted.

apparently not. They just got some of the first exit polling and Cameron told shep that its not going to be quite the blowout the McCain campaign had expected and you could visibly see sheps countenance fall.
I thank you for that report! ;) I have such agita today, you have no idea!!! Politics will be the death of me.

Romney is the only candidate Democrat or Republican with a good solid, viable economic plan. More money in Americans pockets means they have more freedom. I am never going to agree you all made a good decision given the choices at present.

Who appointed you judge over another man's soul? What makes you think Romney has a chance? He's the only one in the race with higher negatives than Hillary.

What makes you think Romney has a chance?
Economics, Romney has a strong plan, and a great argument to bring to the Democrats.
