Our Founders opposed a religous test for office, but many Huckabee voters apparently support creating one for Mitt Romney.

To my ears, Romney’s speech was given to affirm the proper role that faith plays in America, to demonstrate his understanding of the basis of our government. And I thought he did quite well.

By all means, if this is the supposed "end-all" quote, where have you been hiding this quote then everytime a FReeper has called Huckabee a "Christian socialist" (hundreds of times) or that he is "using his faith" etc etc.?

If you take this to me that no man shall be opposed or verbally contested or argued against, then what cave do you live in? In fact, Jefferson goes on to clarify that all men shall be free to profess, and by ARGUMENT to maintain... [Or are you claiming that arguments are only allowed down your one-way streets?]

I may be only one voice, but as I go to the caucus tonight, I am arming myself with various articles I have found on FRee Republic, and I am also making hand outs with the web address to FRee Republic, so people who may be relying only on the garbage the media spews, will have a place to come for some “truthing” ..
All subliminal good thoughts are appreciated...as I venture out later this evening, through sleet and snow and gloom of night...but NOT ready to give up hope!
