Next time you are asked for a financial contribution, print the McCain Peso and send it to the candidate or political party of your choice. You can be generous and send more than one.

Maybe this will get their attention.

I think I'm going to donate to McCain after all. Let's say 5,000 million McCain pesos tomorrow. Come to think of it, RNC deserves at McCain pesos, too.

You could donate pesos to McCain or donate to Planned Parenthood on behalf of Romney.

Neither McCain or Romney are conservatives. I cannot believe they are fooling people.

This election is a joke. We’re going to need a 3rd party candidate who is a Conservative. We may have 4 liberals in the general election (McCain/Romney; Hillary/Obama; Cynthia McKinney (Green); Bloomberg (Ind)) and no Conservative. Outrageous.

I think that many folks, who don’t do their research, are voting for McCain because he is a war hero, but don’t know what he stands for.

Here’s some of what he stands for:

Senator McCain supports human embyronic stem cell research, and according to the late Henry Hyde wanted to weaken the pro-life plank in the GOP platfrom. McCain supported the ICC (where the International Criminal Court would be judging Americans). He also was part of the gang of 14, which has stopped President Bush’s judicial nominess for circuit courts, etc. from going to the floor for an up or down vote.

I heard a couple of McCain’s colleagues say on the radio that he went against the leadership, when the Republicans had the majority, including the culture issues.

John McCain is also the senator that liberal Democrats come to when they want a senator from the Republican side of the aisle. For instance: McCain/Feingold (limits free speech); McCain/Kennedy (amnesty); McCain/Lieberman (50 cents per gallon gas tax increase).

Senator McCain doesn’t want to drill in ANWR.

Senator McCain’s pro-illegal immigration stance would hurt our national security, as border security is national security. Known terrorists have been caught crossing our borders.

Serving your country honorably does not automatically make a person a good POTUS.

"I think right now Romney probably -- as the campaign has coalesced and as the campaign has progressing on down the highway -- I think the one candidate of the three still out there on our side ... in saying who more closely embodies all three legs of this conservative stool, you'd have to say that it's Mitt Romney. There's actually no choice in the matter. It certainly isn't Senator McCain."

Why is it there is not a SINGLE pro-abortion group or activist that supports Romney?

Why is it McCain has garnered more PRO-ABORTION votes in the primaries than the others on the GOP side?

I don’t think there was a single true conservative in the race this year. Granted, I don’t know Tancredo’s positions and record in detail so I can’t rule him out, but at least others had many flaws.

Anyway, I’m fine with imperfect candidate, but McCain is not just imperfect, he is outright lunatic and hostile to our side. Amnesty, CFR, ANWR, Global Warming Myth, gov regulation, class warfare rhetoric, open hostility and name calling from US Senator etc are too much to bear.

I’m with Rush, Ann Coulter, Hannity, Rick Santorum and others who believe that nominating that pro-amnesty CFR nutcase will lead to disaster. We can still support House and Senate conservatives even if McAmnesty is the (losing) nominee. We can take our party (and country) back.

When your weapon runs out of bullets, you pull your sidearm and keep shooting. Romney is our sidearm and he might be enough to keep the fight going.

The only other choice is to let them overrun us, and I will never do that.

Why is that for some of you the abortion issue is the only one that matters?

Here...this will permit linking to FR. It's on a machine sitting in my hallway at the moment. It won't link from just anywhere, but it will link from FR.

Just saw a Frank Luntz focus group who have no idea what obama has accomplished. They all shook their head when asked if they would vote for McCain if the dem candidate of their choice did not win the nomination.

I'm not sure if everyone else was having trouble pulling down that Peso or not, but I couldn't get it.

Here's an old Bush Peso that I stored away for a rainy day.  Have fun.

If McCain get the nomination, I’m voting for the Hildabeast.
Hopefully our side will be more willing to stand up for their principles against a dem more than a republican, and anyway, Nil & John aren’t very different anyway.

Likewise. Obama/Hildabeast is a better choice compared to McAmnesty. At least GOP could unite and oppose them (apart from McAmnesty and Lindsay).

I could not wait for McCain’s “consensus nominations” to the Supreme Court, after consultations with Ted Kennedy. Anybody who believes McCain is going to nominate people like Alito or Roberts has been smoking something.

Anyway, we must support conservatives in House and Senate races.
